The only thing I'm really worried about is temperature fluctuation. I got b+ strain I read it's very forgiving. I was just gonna put my jars inside my bedroom trunk and leave them be. It's summer so the highs can be up there but also at night it might be 60 something. HOw can I try to prevent the temperature fluctuations?

You will be okay with the temps fluctuating, as long as its not 85+ for too long, they will survive and grow normally, they could grow and fruit normally at 60 degrees constantly it may just take a little longer, you are fine with temps fluctuating it won't effect the grow

If you absolutely cant find a better place you could place the jars in a sealed insulated cooler to help keep the temps regular.

Cool.so would that keep it from getting overheated? Like if I wasn't home and my ac was turned off?

I fruit and colonize pretty much in the same temps, round 60f but no higher than 70f. Whatever you do don't keep handling your jars, set em on a shelf or something an forget them.
I'm not sure if you have the proper conditions to cultivate mushrooms right now

The insulated cooler would just be a buffer against temperature swings. A good quality cooler will surely keep your temps regulated for several hours. I would think that this would be a good solution in your case. Obviously, the better the cooler then the better your results would be.

Cubes are hard to fuck up -RR. I've seen them grow when it's 90 degrees outside during the day and less than 60 at night. If you really want to succeed on your first grow, then build an incubator like FrankHorrigan. I think he stated that he will never not use one because it decreases colonization time significantly(he also doesn't have to worry about temp fluctuations).
Also like BUCK513 stated: Don't touch the motherfuckers.
GL and I wish you success. Just curious, but what method are you attempting for your first grow?
