Nooby here asking for possible identification
    #21781613 - 06/09/15 02:45 AM (8 years, 7 months ago)

Where? TEXAS

Habitat: Backyard garden, heavily shaded, moist soil due to excessive rain.

Gills. unsure of color maybe gray? can post pics of underside if needed.

Stem:
Tall for how small the mushrooms are, thin and white. Seems hollow but unsure.

Cap:
Thin and almost transparent, growing brown toward the tip. Feels fragile.

Spore print color: unsure of how to do this, can I use parchment paper? My apologies this is my first post I'm a serious nooby.

Bruising:
none noticed.

Other information:
They grow very fast

It is a coprinoid species, perhaps Coprinopsis. More data necessary to come closer to species.
They are usually rather ephemeral and can pop up and be gone in short time.
