If I got on a boat and sailed into international waters would I be free as long as I didn't commit universal jurisdiction crimes?

No. You're forgetting about pirates. They would have their way with you.

I can accept that so long as I'm finally free of governments. I'd rather deal with a bunch of angry blood thirsty thieves than any government. At least the pirates don't tell me it's for my own good.

I'm not positive, but I'm pretty sure you can still be prosecuted for anything in international waters as soon as you land ashore.

That would be fine as I would never land ashore again if it came to this. (it's only my possible life plan #7)

Well you'd have to grow/fish for all of your food, and desalinate the water, and most likely have to have solar power too...
Also it has to be a sail boat...
It'd be so fucking difficult to have a boat that NEVER has to go ashore.

It's not so difficult as you would think. The real problem is potential damage that would need you to go ashore for repairs. Agriculture on the top deck, solar to grow beneath deck and to desalinate water. Survival is possible as long as no government interferes with my plans. It makes me happy just to think about what it would be like.

Rented a limo a while ago and the driver told us we could do whatever we wanted to in the back seat and it was equivalent to international waters. haha I swear this dude was drunk as fuck or fucked up on pills. We wound up getting him blazed out of his mind and he fell asleep while we bar hopped. Shit was priceless.

this is a bad plan. whatevr gov't you are trying to escape from can do whatever they want to you out on the seas. The navy could just swoop in and sink your ass, and nobody would be the wiser
