P. semilanceata - Norway, June 8th 2015 (Update: new pics from June 13th) 1

I was roaming around in a sheep pasture looking for signs of this mushroom (perhaps a semi but not sure yet) spotting a number of the usual Panaolus sp. and Protostropharia alongside a few smaller Galerina sp. when I found these, growing in close proximity to very well decayed manure, almost like soil. This area has been farmland and pastures probably since the middle age.
I didn't have any newspaper or similar proof of date handy, so you'll just have to trust me.

Thanks! Rather unexpected this early, yes. However our "spring" has so far quite resembled autumn, condition wise.

That was regarding the find in the linked post.
The ones pictured here are undoubtedly P. semilanceata.

I have seen them in spring in Tasmania, so the same triggers exist in both seasons.
but we are seeing the same there here in Tas, with spring and autumn sharing conditions.

Well, living in a wet and humid part of Norway, I would believe they could be popping up here and there at unusual times. I've had a look a few times in past years without any luck, though. In addition there are supposed to be rarer species growing here too, favoring an earlier season, these include P. fimetaria and P. liniformans, but to my knowledge they have not been found in Norway so far.

Went back to the spot yesterday, checking for more supposedly P. fimetaria.
The usual sight of Protostropharia semiglobata in groups on well-decayed dung, but also more Psilocybe semilanceata growing on the grassy edge just beside the manure.

Not exactly, these did not grow directly from poop as such, just very close to it. I think nitrogen is a key factor here.
