sounds like a great way of life to me.

its the only way i can live it man. i still say hippies were in the sixties. and before them were the beatknicks, which i beleive evolved into the hippie, which evolved into idk, but i do know we are all evolving, and faster than ever at that. its only going to happen faster as well. i also beleive they started something that will only grow, and cannot be stopped. all cultures throughout time have had there psychedelics, when we were wild people they came from the wild, now we are technologized beings, and so arent our psychedelics. regardless of where it once came they have been teachers and healers for people and i beleive the earth as well, theyre playing there part always will and always have, i mena look its fucking 2015 and theres more lsd flying around than there ever has since abbie helped us find it.

L is only an 80ish year old drug. It is very young. It is a catalyst for the imagination; a catalyst for change. In 500 years or so I am curious as to whether the term hippie will even exist let alone be relevant. My guess is not.

ive always said lsd was the greatest catalyst,(if not singularity, or both) you can apply it to anything, just about anything we have today other than our planet and old buildings and antiques wouldnt be the way it was if not for lsd. its a catalyst of the mind, its a catalyst of life, its also a catalyst of time. its also the catalyst thats going to change the way we live, eat and use our resources on this planet. watch, 500 years form now people will still be eating lsd, thats the only thing im sure of will be happening in 500 years, the rest i couldnt tell yah.

daniwtf said: My question is: what came first? The chicken or the egg? I know that doing psychedelics is supposed to change you, and it's supposed to be generally for the better. But do they change you into a hippie if you do them enough? Do you start becoming attracted to those things, or are most people a hippie first and then do the psychedelics.
Well the egg definitively came first sooooo these chickens (hippies) probably came after eggs (psychs)
But I guess it could of always been part of them and just brought out by psych use

Depends on what you mean by a hippie, true hippies as mentioned are the ones that started it and are mostly gone, but the culture is still alive I would say it has evolved into what we are seeing today, clean cut wouldn't know unless they told you hippies. But I myself still dress in flannels, tye dye shirts, peace necklaces, just your own personal deal.

Personally, i agree with the guy that said psychedelics make you who you already were.
I never saw myself as a hippie, but i was always very in tune with nature, never really seemed to fit in with the "normals" always got picked on and shit.
Then i met lucy and realized that i have been bathed in the love of this chemical and it has made me realize that we are all people, and no matter how "evil" someone is, everyone has the capacity for good.
For this reason, i can no longer judge people. I see someone doing something i dont like and before i say "wow, screw you dude" i try to come up with reasons that might make them act in this way. Once i come up with a list of reasons, i can no longer hold this persons actions against them because i can now empathize with them.
This is why i dont click with most people i believe. I show a level of empathy that most people in today's society will never understand. I can put myself in anyone's shoes and say "man you are an ass hole, but i understand why" for the most part.
I have come to realize that i could always do this, but never realized that i was doing it until psychedelics became a part of me.
Sometimes i think i am too nice and it is obvious that people take advantage of me for it, but i really dont care because i am who i am, and to let anyone change me would just be wrong.
We all need to be who we are, because if everyone was the same then there would be no point to this world.

This^ I only just started using psychedelics, and they have pushed me further in the direction that I knew was right all along. I am currently transitioning into become a vegetarian, possibly even a vegan, I care even less about the clothes I wear or my outward appearance to others, I am more loving, more forgiving and more understanding of everyone around me, I am putting more time and effort into trying to be a better person and help the lives of those around me.
I already knew many of my shortcoming and how I could improve as a person, psychedelics are just helping hands that make sure I keep pushing in the right direction.
