temperature fluctuation question

My main concern beside sterility is temperature fluctuation during the incubation/culturing period. During the summer Nights the temperature can drop from 80-90 during the day to 50-60 @ night. How can I insure a controlled area. I was planning on leaving the culturing jars in my chest/trunk.especially since I can't be home 24/7 to keep checking the thermometer . Any suggestions?

Those temps will be fine assuming they are Celsius.
If F then 90 is too hot. It may kill the mycelium and is inviting all kinds of nasty shit to grow.
Room temp is good. If you are comfortable, then usually the shrooms are as well.
Anywhere from 50-80 F and the spores will still germinate and the myc. will colonize, and the mushrooms will grow. But 65-75F is best with around 70 being perfect for cubes....IMO.
Also, a little fluctuation is good for the grow.

They sell these mini space heaters with thermostat i was thinking about getting one to heat a greenhouse, but that just turned out too complicated Something you might want to consider too, because temp fluctuations dont really matter too much maybe slow colonisation somewhat
Just dont burn your house down plz

Should I put my spores downstairs until we get A/C working? It gets 100F in my room easily.
