DMT vs mushrooms?

Been shrooming for awhile. Love the experience but it can be somewhat uncomfortable and anxiety provoking at points. I have not really tried dmt yet, so I'm curious what people think about the comparison?
Sometimes on shrooms, I feel like I am struggling or fighting something. Does dmt get you past all these uncomfortable barriers one may find oneself caught in such as negative thought loops? I almost feel like you progress to dmt. Is it an easier trip? Which do you prefer?

DMT can be even more "uncomfortable and anxiety provoking" than mushrooms but it all happens so fast its hard to get into a loop
-------------------- The mushroom speaks: '"I am old, older than thought in your species, which is itself fifty times older than your history. Though I have been on earth for ages I am from the stars. My home is no one planet, for many worlds scattered through the shining disc of the galaxy have conditions which allow my spores an opportunity for life... How the hypercommunication mode operates is a secret which will not be lightly given to man. But the means should be obvious: it is the occurrence of psilocybin and psilocin in the biosynthetic pathways of my living body that opens for me and my symbiots the vision screens to many worlds"

I've never tried DMT, but from what I hear its quite intense.
If we assume mushrooms are a 4 hour roller coaster, then DMT would be the equivalent of a 10 minute ride strapped to a NASA rocket shot out of a cannon at light speed.

Imagine mushrooms is like a bike ride in the country and dmt is a rocket blasting though the atmosphere that's as fitting comparison as I can come up with this morning though dmt is over and done in like 10 min as opposed to hours with shrooms that 10 min though can be really intense

Take enough of anything and they all start feeling the same. A 9.75 gram mushroom trip felt exactly like my 250 mg oral DMT trip which felt very similar to my 20 inch bridgessi trip.
Smoked DMT however is a beast all its own and shouldn't be compared to mushrooms that's like comparing an orange to a buffalo.

DMT changed the way I view life for the better. I never thought I could feel so good about life and being alive in general.
That being said the trip can be terrifying if you don't know anything about yourself. I've had complete ego, time, body and identity loss on it. Keep in mind the actual trip part only lasts 5-7 mins so this doesn't last long but it's so powerful it can be scary. I recommend writing yourself a note in large text and put it in front of you. Say something like "All is well" "you're fine, don't worry" just something that will calm you down if you have a ego death.
From my experience not only is identity lost but the idea of what identity is, is lost too. In everyday life you get a sense of "who" you are without ever thinking about. You always know who you are as if by magic. Most of what you think of "you" is inherited from your parents, culture, friends, family, and environment. On a DMT ego death this all vanishes you lose any sense of perspective. Suddenly you're nothing and everything all at once but you don't remember a time before when you were something. You have the idea like maybe I was something but now I just exist as consciousness. In this state time ceases to mean anything to me. When you're there you feel as if you've always been there and will always be. When you get back to body and actually realize you are a human being with a body you've never been so happy to be what you are.
That stuff being said I've never had a trip where I didn't get anything from it. Even if it's scary at the time I feel like I can bring a lot of back to my normal life and my outlook on life has improved greatly.

When eating mushrooms i will have a fair knowledge on what trip im going to and what to do. When doing DMT there are no way in hell for me to tell were im going to end up in my mind. I never get bad trips, but damn that DMT is a beautiful and naturally honest Device. There are no lies and deception when traveling with dmt, so IME I have to face all my inner troubles and fears and to give it my truly, respect. For me dmt is holy, and I appreciate it greatly, so it can also appreciat me greatly!
but imo you really can't compare those two substances. Eat a high amount of shroooms, and you maybe tickle the boundaries of dmt. But really can't compare it. When I first time ate shrooms many years ago, I also fought and struggled, and didn't find my,comfort zone when tripping. Stop fighting it, was my answer...
Dmt is life changing in right situations and right doses, so imo if you struggle with shrooms, you will also struggle with dmt.

I usually don't struggle much, but since it lasts so long, there's bound to be a moment or two of uneasiness which can spiral into a negative loop.
Would you say it's more common to have bad trips on dmt if it's that much stronger than shrooming?

I really don't know, i just speak what i experience. It has a lot to say about you as a person and what you want to achieve with DMT. Whatever trip or substances i do, i always come to a point during a trip were negativity is presens, my trick is not letting me spiral down with it, and rather use it to understand the dark corners of my mind. I even can't imagine a trip without some sort of hard feelings...
so I don't know if you react different on dmt or not...
