Habitat: These were growing under bracken ferns and some gum trees along a river side. There was mycelium growing all over fallen sticks and fruiting off fern limbs.
Gills: Dark browny/black color, purple under light (blue where touched)
Stem: Length= from 75mm through to 195mm long, diameter= 3-6mm, color= was a whitey colur but now deep blue, texture= thick, rubbery sort of texture
Cap: From 20mm-65mm, creamy caramel color, conical/hood shaped
Spore print color: Dark purple to near black
Bruising: Deep blue bruising on the stems and under the gills when touched and mottled blue on top of cap.
Other information: Pics are from a phone. I appologisd in advance if they are not very good.

Psilocybe subaeruginosa. Nice bell cap ones
Next time use scissors though and don't remove the mycelium.

Cheers! You guys are the best! I was pretty sure they were but just wanted a second opinion. I've got another area to admire but they look much shorter, no where near as heavy, have chunkier stems and flatter across the cap. Heaps different than these tall ones i saw bush walking with cool looking caps!!
I'll be sure to use scissors next time signeg, i only took what i needed (those 10 in pic is my loot) and left the rest (hundreds)to repopulate after tapping the picked caps on similar woody areas around the site and further away. Thanks a heap for the ID, i really appreciate it.

No worries. Tapping the cap doesn't do anything. You could break off the stem butts and bury them or just leave them in the ground. You wouldn't of done much damage, it's just not the best habit i think.
