ID Req. NW Florida

Found these growing on a large compost pile near a local stable. The area had overhead tree coverage. I feel pretty sure they're active due to the bruising, but I'm not a gambling man.

I'll have a print ready tomorrow. I'm also curious about the bugs I've found on them. The largest one had a black earwig looking bug inside of it, which I removed and killed. I found VERY small white bugs on the gills of this same one, probably younglings of the bug I slayed. I've segregated the infested cap and stem from the rest. Will these go away as it dries, or should I trash them?

They are active. Those are some beautiful Cubensis. Have fun!

edit - Also, if you don't like to eat bugs just toss what ever mushrooms were infested. You said it was just one shroom that was infested, right? If so, you're set for a nice trip.

Here's the promised print. Thanks for the input, guys. What are personal opinions on the bugs? I don't mind getting a crunchy surprise if its not harmful in any way. It would be a shame to lose the fruit that has the crawlies on it, as its the largest of the haul. But if they're harmful or negative, I'll toss it.

You can dry mushrooms to get rid of bugs.
