Question on Pinning/growth while still in jar...

Hello everyone,
First time grower here -
about 3 days away from 4 weeks of incubation - 1 jar actually had a mushroom growing in it (going sideways along the jar of course) and another had like 6 or 7 pins growing. Is this common? I birthed those jars as I figured they were ready if they are already pinning/growing while still in a jar.
What to do in this instance? The case are not completely very white - there is mycelium growth all over but I can still see vermiculite and does not look like some of the pictures i've seen of super white cakes. Maybe a little worried they were no fully colonized... but then again they are pinning...
Also wanted to ask about dunking... I've read that its a good idea to dunk after the first fruit... and not right after birth.. Suggestions?
Thanks for your help

If I was noticing pins/growth inside the jar I would birth immediately, regardless of visible vermiculite, in my opinion if it is pinning inside the jar it'll far better outside of it.

If my jar consolidates for the extra week and no pins have popped up yet, I will dunk it. If there is already pins/growth when birthed, than I let it do a fruit then dunk.. Otherwise I personally dunk before and after the first flush.
