SWIM's first LSD journey - "A Full Collision With Reality" (Mind Blown)

SWIM's just coming down off his first LSD trip, from which 220 micro-grams were ingested. It's been about 16 hours since he dropped, and although it is almost 7:00a.m. he has been unable to sleep so far, while still experiencing some profound thoughts and emotions. The trip started with a close friend, they dropped together, caught a train to a local park and observed the sunset as the chemical took hold. At times it was quite tough, particularly when they made their way back home on public transport, but pushing through these times, and realizing that any anxiety or fear that arose had no legitimate basis, was the most therapeutic exercise of SWIM's life. SWIM finally understands the full meaning of the phrase "We have nothing to fear but fear itself," for fear and anxiety are just entities that emanate from within us, and when confronted head on and not avoided, they have no control over us. So many moments lasted for an eternity, words cannot describe the depths of awe and the magnitude of realizations that were experienced. SWIM is so glad he decided to jump into a decent trip rather than just going one tab for a first time. Having tried psilocybin on two occasions, he has many points of comparison between the two chemicals (LSD and Psilocin) that need to be made, but alas, he does not have the time or energy to explain every drop of this experience in depth. SWIM is titling this experience: "A Full Collision With Reality." When fully rested, an attempt will be made to explain the details of the trip, but of course, it will be a failed attempt, for how effective can words possibly be to capture the majesty of experience...

Nice post, Sounds like an impactful trip.. I'm glad it turned out so well. Examining and explaining the trip won't match the reality, but it can help assimilate your thoughts! (In my opinion).
No worries on not explaining the differences between the two as there's loads of threads on the subject. I don't think this site uses SWIM from what I've seen btw.

Yeah I think you are right. And yes I was still tripping a little bit when posting and thought 'SWIM' was necessary for some reason. Some of the realizations I made were deep and I think will have a positive impact on the rest of my life. I am currently integrating what I learned into my actions and so far I feel a lot more control over my mind and emotions.
Thanks for the advice!

Hope you enjoyed. The first trip is always the best.
A few friendly tips before the more aggressive members here comment:
1) We don't use SWIM, so feel free to be yourself. 2) When you talk about how many micrograms you ingested, a bunch of members here feel the need to tell you that you have no idea how many micrograms it was unless you laid the LSD yourself onto blotter. What dealers say is 100micrograms is often ~60. So on and so forth.
Glad you had a good one!

Thanks man, I'll stop using 'SWIM'. I understand that most street LSD is unreliable in both purity and dosage, but I have every reason to believe that my source was quality. It had the same printing as the tabs in this thread, only 110ug tabs:

Nice, that's pretty reliable as far as it goes.
Welcome to the Shroomery by the way.
