Don't wanna fruit too early

With my last bulk grow, I accidently fruited it too early. In your opinion, would this be a good spot for now and future grows to fruit? Or will it be 100% white like brf jars get? I am just curious what done looks like.

Fruiting too early should be the least of your concerns. Regardless, tubs will fruit when they are ready.

Nope, just verm and coir sub.

What do you mean by this? I just don't want to put it into fruiting conditions too soon, and have it affect my yield

The tub will fruit when it is ready. Not sure how to reword it
You make no mention of your sub ratio, nor when you spawned it. As I said before, putting it under fruit conditions is not a big deal. You can wait and fruit it when it starts to knot heavily if you wanted.
IMO that tub looks a bit bacterial, you can fruit it now or several days from now. Whatever tickles your fancy

I followed Damion's 50/50 coir tek. 2qts verm, 1 brick of coir (250g compressed cococoir), and 5 QTS of spawn. It's been about 12 days or so

I think you mean 650g brick of coir. 250g would be like 2-3 quarts of coir lol.

Got it at Walmart? Bet you paid an arm and a leg. No pet shops around you?
I pay like 7 bucks or so after taxes for 3 bricks

Check pet smart, Petco, etc. Pet smart always has the shit in my area. Just go to the reptile aisle with lizards and shit. Eco earth coconut coir. Lizards and snakes always have it as bedding

For side pinning. Put foil in your tub before u add your substrate next time, works like a charm cuz the myc basically eats the foil, and keeps it snug tight to your substrate, even when your substrate shrinks after a flush or two the foil shrinks with it.

Aluminum foil as a liner? There's no way you're being serious, and if you are...

Ok Richard. Tell me why it's not a good idea, don't just smack your head and say "Are you joking!?" Yea...I do, it's done me great for awhile now. I don't see any real negative side effects. But throw some knowledge my way, this isn't a flaming forum.

Because a trash bag works just as well, probably better. Foil can't fit all size tubs either, unless you want to oveprlap it Foil is much more expensive than trashbags.
Ask anyone who's grown more than 50-100 monotubs and they'll laugh at using foil as a liner

And for the record mycelium definitely doesn't eat foil, not even trash bags for that matter.
The liner simply clings with the mycelium and shrinks with it. A lot of people don't even use liners. I couldn't care less about getting side pins. Thee only reason I do personally is because I like to lift the substrate completely out of the tub when harvesting, liner helps a lot with that.

Ah I can see that, pulling the plastic trash bag to pull the brick sub out and harvesting like that instead of having to fuck with all those booms inside the tub, thats brilliant. See, i'm not a dumbass my friend, that's why I was getting offended at you smacking your head ^_^ Maybe just not as experienced as you, I only been doing this on and off for 4 years now. And only ever made about 10-15 tubs in total. The foil works fine for me because I been growing in small baby tubs, 15 x 11/12 x 11 3/4, just overlap 2 pieces and im golden. Thanks for the advice to switch from foil to plastic bin liners.

It's actually on sale now for 11$! But yeah the shipping could have been like 10 instead of 5, but it was around therethere. I'll definitely check out some pet stores after I use up my remaining coir.
I'm almost off of work, I plan on putting my grow into fruiting conditions when I get home. I feel like if I wait longer, it'll have expended a lot of the nutrients left in the sub; and will affect my yield. Does that happen?

What did I say before? I'm not sure how many times I can answer the same question lol
Some people wait until there tubs are knotting like crazy, then they fruit. Others just fruit at full colonization.
Its personal preference. You are putting way too much thought into this

Sorry for the confusion! I understand it's personal preference, I was curious if that's a thing. If you leave something to colonize too long, will it drain all the nutes out of a sub?

It'll just keep on shrinking, then fruit
A tub is gonna fruit whether you put it into fruiting conditions or not
