Amanita Muscaria? Missouri find

Two days back, I was out hunting P. Cinctulus when I noticed a red mushroom, which I knew nothing about. I took a picture because it was sort of cool. Later on, after my hunt, I realized that this mushroom looks a lot like A. Muscaria. I did not have time to return the next day, but I walked back to the area to retrieve it today. By time i'd come back, the mushroom had dried up on the lawn, and the stipe was already bent/snapped considerably. I was not able to retrieve the base of the mushroom (which looked like it was bulbous when alive) as it was dry and crumbled with the dry soil. The only camera available to me is on my phone, and not the greatest quality, sorry . Thanks for your time!
Here is the mushroom growing:

Here it is once I returned:

Habitat: A lawn in St. Louis county, open, no trees in the front yard. past two days have been hot (80F to 90F)and humid, before that there was several days of heavy rain.
Gills: Attached all the way at the top. Did not see color when growing, but they're yellowish to tan now that the mushroom is dry.
Stem: Hollow. Straight white when growing(Dried)Flesh wrinkled sort of like the P.Cubes I've bought. 1.25in tall, a little over .25in thick. White, yellow discoloration now that dried. Especially yellow where stem was broken off. Seemed to have a large bulbous end, but the base of stem broke off and crumbled when I attempted to retrieve it.
Cap: Reddish orange with definite white warts. (Dried)Dried to a tan with pinkish/purplish red around edges.
Spore print color: Have not taken one.
Bruising: Yellowish, might just be changing due to drying.
Other information: The mushrooms smell has a slight similarity to those of p cubes bought on the street, but this smell is light, and overpowered by a sort of foot smell.

Gonna have to agree with that, most likely a russula. Look up some images of young amanitas musc they don't show much resemblance to those.

Thank you. I haven't spent much time studying amanitas, but now I can see why that isn't even close. So far I'e only really looked into Panaeoulus and it's look-alikes, so to me, any red mushroom with white veil remnants was worth having ID'd. The experience from A. Muscaria doesn't really interest me at this point anyway, so it (probably) wouldn't have been consumed even if it was active.
