Yes but that still doesn't make her wrong for not leaving. Yeah anyone, including myself, would probably just leave because why deal with it, but just because he says so doesn't mean you have to, it's just easier, but not needed.

This isn't far from where I live.
Sad to see things like this happening so close to home.

I'm sure there are many cases where law enforcement does have the legal right to demand citizens to leave a certain area, whether it applies to this scenario is up for debate.

Yeah that's the only thing I'm wondering is whether he was justified in telling everyone to leave or not. I'll admit she's a dumbass and should of just left but unfortunately the ball is in her court if he had no reason to tell everyone to leave. I don't even know what they were responding to so it's even harder for me to say whether it was right or wrong.

That one dark skinned girl in the yellow and orange bikini probably couldn't shut the fuck up even if she were dead. Her fucking corpse would probably keep babbling on, "My Mama, My Mama, My Mama!!!" Bitch your mama should have had a fucking abortion.

"I'm wondering is whether he was justified in telling everyone to leave"
Why? It's a public safety issue, trying to break up a chaotic mob is the legal and responsible tactic to use in that scenario.

It's legal to be around them, and film as long as you don't impede their abilities to do their job, standing a decent amount away is completely legal, you can't be charged anything for that.

Where I'm from if the police tell you to leave you just got a get out of jail free card as long you're smart enough to take their advice. Not doing as advised has always equalled an ass whooping and a trip to county. I didn't need to learn that one the hard way. When the cops show leaving has always been the first thing on my mind.
If we get to the point where the cops can't break up a ruckus going outside might not be as fun as it used to be.

45 seconds when the cops get there "Don't just take off running when the cops get here" but only that one cop is super pissed they're staying.
Up to about 3 minutes the camera even pans around and you can see everyone is dispersed, they even walked away a bit, he only went after her because she has a loud mouth. All of her friends stayed after that and up until about 5:30 he didn't say a word to any of them who were also doing the same thing he was was detaining/arresting her of doing. Other cops even come over and stand there and had no problem with any of them standing there, only that cop.
What he called a mob, was a group scattering just because the police showed up, then gets furious at the ones who are just standing there not even doing anything, the one girl was trying to get something and you can even her say that. A bunch of girls in bikinis who aren't a threat whatsoever.
That was my original question and no one answered because I didn't know if it was a lawful order telling everyone to leave. I guess you can say yeah because it was dispersing a chaotic mob, but it seemed far from chaotic, and pretty typical of teenagers, until he did that. And if she was legally allowed to be there then she didn't have to comply and he went overboard, which it kind of seemed to me and why I was wondering.
Either way I don't think he should be receiving death threats and resigning.

She was also asked 5-6 times to leave the area and refused to do so, and she also did resist arrest.
It's really not that complicated, follow basic instructions and there will be no issues.
I don't believe it was explained in the video, but what was she or anyone else doing that made it a lawful order to have her/them leave the area. I'm only asking because if it was public property and he didn't have a legal reason to have everyone evacuate the area, she doesn't have to listen.
It wasn't exactly public property it was for residents only. This is not an uncommon deal.

the real problem is that canadians are afraid of their shadows
You also won't see a canadian complain about a black kid in the condo pool. Why are you southerners so proud of your segragated swimming history? I dont get this. If they asked me if i support tax increase for community pool i would be all for it and swim happily with multicultural rainbow mosaic. You guys will pay big bucks to not swim with dark people. And then support crazy cops for pulling guns on little girls to keep your pools white. You people are fucking crazy

They make up a whole 2% of their population and these guys lecture the US on how to deal with them.
Would they ever accept 5-10 million of them from the US? Not a chance in hell. What a bunch of hypocrites.

Then why did the cop only go after the black people, and completely leave the white people that were at the party alone.. including the person who filmed the whole incident who was in the middle of it untouched the entire time. He might as well have been invisible.
