When to make Ovoids patch?

Hi all,
Is it to late to plant Ovoids for having them fruit this year. I can't find any proper start to finish tutorial for growing Ovoids outdoor. Any links or advice would be appreciated.

Hi everyone,
Here is the thing. A sporesyringe of Psilocybe ovoideocystidiata is on its way and I should get it by the middle of next week. I live in plant hardiness zone 6 in Europe, and I can't find the answer to my question anywhere? I know now is to late to have them fruit this year but can anyone advise me PLEASE when to take them outside? I have read somewhere that beds of Azurescens created during the summer failed, and the summer this year is being expected to be very hot in my area. That is why need an advice when to plant them in the forest. I have to add that first frosty nights may occur as early as mid of October. How long do they need to be in the wild in order to establish strong matrix that would survive harsh winter that follows? Any tips regarding location will be appreciated.

Go to the top right and search. Just follow a tek and find out what the schedule is for your area. Also patches should last a few years and fruit when ready, from what I understand. Wood lovers survive winters normally. It would be smart to cover the patch if it's really harsh.

Thanks for your interest Mad Season, but this is exactly my problem. I have searched this forum throughout (almost) and I haven't found a comprehensive tek on Ovoids. I'm not a person who wants everything given on golden plate but I'm stuck with this particular matter. There is one very well done log with loads of great pictures, but that is from southern Cal. which is more like Spain in Europe rather then where I live. Anyways, I have decided to approach the matter a bit scientifically and I will make one patch every week for a month starting in the mid of August, and also straight after hardcore winter ends next year and compare the results.
If anyone would have a link or any suggestions please share.

You could go ahead and plant a patch this Summer. Just find somewhere shady and very wet, preferably by a creek. Just imitate their natural habitat.

Last question and I'm gone.
Do you think its ok if the patch is submerged during early spring when all the snow melts? I think I just found the spot yesterday. There are two problems though. 1st one is that the place is National Protected Area. Nature Reserve if you will. The second is that spots which I would have used are now still moist but I don't know How all this looked like 8-4 weeks ago. Its shady all day long so I think that will be a place. I will just do it 10m after NPA border
