Did i wait too long to PC jars after wbs prep?

I ended up prepping wbs about 3 days ago and it's been in jars. I haven't had time to PC any of them. If I can do them tomorrow and the next day, is 4-5 days too long to wait? Should I resoak the wbs? Will it be bad/rotten? Thanks

I imagine they are already molding in the jars. Soaked and unsterilized grains usually contam in a hurry. Any pictures?
PC them ASAP, like today if possible.

I checked every jar and none of them have any signs of any type of molding. Besides slight condensation at the top, there isn't water build up. I did the grains Thursday/friday. And it's Sunday. So I guess that's only like 2 days. I'll PC them all tomorrow. pictures if you think they're needed, but they look the same as they already did.

Personally, I wouldn't use grain that's been sitting around hydrated for more than 24 hours. But if it looks good it probably is. Maybe give them a little extra time in the PC.

Alright, that's doable. What are the risks? Even if there is slight mold, shouldn't the PC kill it?

It would suck a lot, but I'd rather throw out grains, then lose 12 quarts to contam. so should I just restart? Will I have to throw out the jars and lids? Or can those be cleaned?

They will be fine. Even if they do develop some mold you can PC them and use them. If you see any mold clumps before you PC them just give them a good shake and PC then a little longer than normal. I have done this with no problem. It is just preferable to PC before you increase the sporeload needing to be eliminated by the PC.
