Aerial Myc, or contam?

First time jar grow (fruiting stage). So, I have this thick, fuzzy, white stuff on my cakes. I am curious as to what it is. It looks like aerial myc. It feels like mushrooms. Everything smells like mushrooms. But this is becoming more abundant. I am thinking maybe too much moisture. What do you think?
P.S. Apparently, I am having issues uploading pictures right now.... I will do my best to get some up soon.

We need those pics but my instinct is aerial mycelium and a lack of Fae.

I feel as though I may have added too much water to the perilite thus making a "too-high" humidity climate. I have been fanning the environment several times a day. A little more than usual to get rid of some moisture. It certainly looks like aerial myc. It's a beautiful white. It just seems a bit to fuzzy to me. Again, first time grower.

Could I see some pics of your grow setup and the cakes? It would help get a definite answer.

Soooo no dunk and roll? Looks like verm at both ends, but none in the middle. They need more moisture. Mist them DIRECTLY until they're shimmering/glistening wet and keep them like that 24/7. It isn't uncommon to mist 3-6 times a day.
There's only 2 places you need to mist. The perlite and the cakes. The walls and lid don't need shit.

Oh crap. The opposite of what I expected. Well, as far as the dunk and roll, I was going to do that after my first flush. Everywhere I looked said that it wasn't necessary to dunk until the first flush. I will order more verm and start misting. Thank you for your help.

I actually don't mist at all. I have a humidifier. Here is a pic of my kit(s).

What teks did you follow? Cause there's so much wrong with that in the teks I'm familiar with.
Colonizing cakes don't need to be in the fruiting chamber, in fact it'd probably just make the dry verm layer wet and you'd get higher risk of contams. Especially with the foil there collecting condensation on top of that.
What chamber is that? You understand in that situation perlite is useless? Perlite needs a draft from underneath to push the humidity up into the chamber. That's why it's used on a shotgun and ONLY a shotgun which has holes drilled on ALL 6 sides, bottom and lid.
Shotguns are elevated at least 6 inches high so there is airflow under the chamber. Lastly humidifiers don't provide moisture to cakes. It provides humidity which is counterproductive since you want low humidity for evaporation. You want high surface humidity (cakes glistening wet) all the time for there to be constant evaporation.

So much I didn't know! I understand I have a lot left to learn. So far everything is growing well though. I have had little problem with contam. I have already had a great, healthy looking harvest. I have taken steps to better my system upon your suggestion. I do have one more question. On some caps, there are fuzzy, nipple-looking "growths". Is that bad/ what does that mean? Here is a pic.

Mycelium I'm just saying in nature they get their moisture from rain. So we need to mist directly.

So, my cakes are turning funny colors and the new mushrooms are dark, blueish, and super fuzzy white. This started when I began misting them. The white fuzz was there, but it got worse.
