I found these mushrooms growing in a patch in my lawn. Any idea what they are? qqqq1q1qq1q1_203257_727.jpg] [/url

Pan. Cinctulus will have fatter stems and twisting lines (slightly different then the twist from a mature foe)
Once you pick them enough most of the time you can tell a foe from a cinc any day. Good news is you'll be pickin a whole lot allllll summer

Yeah I had them at a party last night and showed them to a few friends, they said they look psychoactive and wanted to buy em off me, but I said no. Paranoid when it comes to mushrooms. Don't want people sick

Eh, I've found cinctulus with very thin stems and lines that barely twisted at all on the stem:

Surely there are occurring variations but I'm referring to the general consensus.
For example the massive cube that somebody just posted, unsure of what it was while the same species lay behind it. It did not appear like the majority of the specie, but is.

Are you sure it isn't Panaeolus fimicola?

No I'm not. That didn't seem a likely fit to me though. Do you think that's what they are? You can view the other photos in my gallery and make a more informed decision.

It's a possibility...I wouldn't be able to tell from photos alone because they are macroscopically identical. Scope-work is the only way I know of to tell them apart.
I have no idea how common this that species is, but I have a feeling it is more common than people realize.
