From my understanding, there are two honey "teks". There is the mycelium culture honey tek, and then theres the mushroom storage honey tek. You probably want the eatable honey tek (theres no water involved). That tek is here at the shroomery under How To Dose ---> Mushroom Recipes --> No Cook Mushroom Recipes.

ji, A.H. is talking about storing them. i dont see why you cant drink the honey/water/mycellium mix. you might get sick if its contaminated, but other than that it seems ok.

I'll not suggest you to drink honey water.
If the water is contaminated you can have a very painful time.....be very careful....
BTW honey water isn't very potent as the mycelium contained isn't very much at all.....

I tried the honey tek..
didnt work for me.
I suggest not doing it for us beginners..
IM doing shroom wizards grow guide.. 30 years of experience and he uses that,, so it must produce good yields and its simple enuff.

don't drink the water.
strain it off and eat the myc.
dry it 1st if contams are a concern.
the basic formula is 1 teaspoon of honey per 1 cup of water.
let the honey colonize in the light.
