Practicing bonsai is very therapeutic. Learning the plant and it's growing habits, then shaping it and growing with it over the years is a very rewarding hobby. To stimulate new branch growth and overall shape, prune new grow after two or three new nodes, depending on the look you're trying to achieve. Update this next season so I can see the progress.
