i need help identifying these found in CT
    #21764527 - 06/05/15 04:13 AM (8 years, 7 months ago)

Habitat:
Found in the woods growing out of the ground next to alot of shade. Grew very close to some seriously big mushrooms. Id like to know if they are active/edible and which species i am looking at. (Even the big ones next to them if possible, although thats not important)

Gills:
They seem to be attatched. All of them are white besides the large one which seems a little darker. Id call it grey.

Stem:White. More sturdy than they look. They are pretty thin.

Cap:
theyre convex shape 1 or 2 seem to have a nipple like appearance on the top. I found it strange that not all of them have it, yet theyre all the exact same color. A pretty dark brown

Spore print color:
Im waiting for this i will update when theyre done. Just wanted to get this post up

Bruising:
No color change

Other information:
Smells like a regular raw mushroom to me. In these 5 pictures http://m.imgur.com/gE8U9Cm,BNT6Pjl,qUKZt6Q,OK9kJo1,uK501nJ
you can notice the gill color of the large one compared to the small ones. Also notice the size of them compared to those huge mushrooms next to them. I will post spore prints soon. Thanks!

Gill shots are needed here, however the large ones look like Stropharia rugosoannulata.

Welcome to the Shroomery!

Doh, I didn't see there were more pictures.

The smaller ones look like a Psathyrella sp. Spore print should be dark purplish/greyish brown to almost black.

Edit: Remember you can use BBCode and post imgur pictures directly in your posts, easier for people to help you out, like this:

Would these be edible? Also im under the impression they should bruise blue/greenish but they dont change color at all. Any insight?

The large ones, S. rugosoannulata is a good edible.

I wouldn't characterize any Psathyrella sp. as edible, however they are not toxic either. Probably just not worth eating.
They are not psychoactive in any case, and none of them bruise blue.
