Hey man I don't want to be a buzz kill or a stickler but there are people in 3rd world countries and tribal lands and people who use some psyches im sure and I wonder if they think it looks like cartoons after they see a cartoon.
it would be interesting to give someone LSD that has never seen cartoons/tv or any 1st world luxury though.
I like the idea.

Makes me think of the story of those guys who brought aya to some eskimo's.
Then while they were on it they described seeing large jungle cats, which they clearly had never seen or even heard of before most likely. Being so far north and all.
-------------------- Don't worry about me, I've got all that I need. And I'm singing my song to the sky You know how it feels, With the breeze of the sun in your eyes. Not minding that time's passing by I've got all and more, My smile, just as before. Is all that I carry with me I talk to myself, I need nobody else. I'm lost and I'm mine, yes I'm free

My visuals are SO like music videos, and I was wondering the same thing; are my trips like music videos because I've seen a lot of music videos and I listen to music whilst tripping so my brain associates it?
Or is it just coincidence 0_o
By music-video like, I mean the whole slow motion, sexy, vibrant transitiony thing.

definietly your brain that associates it, Music videos , cartoons ,video games, books, art in general , and psychedelics are all forms of imersion into a world of imaginary that contains infinite possibilities. in a way all those things are the same thing.
its our key to satisfie this need for a world of magical empowerment that we humans all have in us.
Edit: Concerning OP , i think its vice versa, i think its really possible for someone that never seen tv to see cartoonish visual or thing we associate with our modern art because the essence for all this art at the base is the psychedelic experience,

at the very center of this impulse there is the shaman ,intoxicated on plants, dancing in the moon light
-Terence Mckenna
I belive the developping of human imagination is in direct relation with the psychedelic influence
