meat injector to inoculate?

I was thinking it would be better to use a meat injector inoculate grain jars BC
1. The needle is fat
2. It can hold a lot of çç's so you can inoculate more jars with less hassle.
Does anyone else use larger syringes that hold more cc's? I was thinking about using this with liquid culture.

I use a 60cc syringe with 14g needle. Go to a feed store or order one. Wish I could get bigger ones.
Huh whattya know. Just did a quick google and found 140cc ones

I don't dig the inoculation gun because you can't PC it and they want you to have an open lc and just drop your tube in it.
Now if they made a PC able jar to go along that you could just attach it to.......

I always considered it more of a toy. I don't have one and never used one.
I'm trying to envision a grow op big enough to justify one of those.

I have one of these
It holds 50cc and has settings to inject 1cc-5cc at a time. It can also be pc'd.

Is this just for PFtek? After taking the short step to agar, I can't see why you'd need a giant inoculator.

Those guns are like a 100 bucks. A meat injector has got to be like 10bucks. I'm going to check them out tomorrow. They should be pressure cooker safe

60ml syringes are like $3 from the vendors. And they come with a needle.
I think your meat injector needle is going to be way too fat to be practical.

With fat needles, use one of those blue stopper injection ports like they sell at out-grow. After you inject, put a dab of silicone on the punture hole. It works great.

I went to home depot today and they had 60ml twin packs for 3 dollars and 4pk needles, all gauges, 2 dollars. Can't beat it. And everything comes sterile.
