Please help. Kratom for withdrawal question.

Long story short; I had 2 years clean from heroin, I relapsed 6 months ago, I need to get off this shit before I end up dead or in jail.
I have heard a lot about using Kratom to help get through the first few days of withdrawal and I'm about to order some in a panic so I can detox myself this weekend.
Anyone have experience with this? I am very low on money and I'm thinking of ordering this; http://krakenkratom.com/buy-red-vein-borneo-kratom-powder 56 grams to help me get through the initial hell hole I will undoubtedly be in.
I know nothing of Kratom besides the few things I've heard about it helping withdrawal symptoms.
Is this the right strain for what I'm using it for? Is 56 grams enough to last me a few days?
My major withdrawal symptoms that usually lead me to use again are 3. Sweating/chills 2. Anxiety (feeling like my bones want to jump out of my body and go get high.) 1. Sleeplessness (this is my major problem, I lose my mind after not sleeping for 3 days straight and use just so I can get a good solid sleep.)
Would there be a particular strain of Kratom to help with these symptoms? I'm looking to order right now and thought it might be a good idea to come check in here with you guys first.
Any and all help is appreciated, thank you guys in advance.
p.s. Sorry if I'm doing something wrong here as far as posting a link or even asking about this, I'll delete this if I'm doing something against the rules.

HA! Kratom is shit, if you have any sort of decent tolerance to opiates it it most likely won't do jack shit for you.
Be a man and go cold turkey or just keep using; its a win-win.

Kratom is my favorite drug besides meth I love it to pieces and it has never done me wrong. I use it for recreation and mental stuff so it's my favorite overall plant drug.

Just kick the shit cold turkey(With weed and alcohol of course) or find some suboxone/subutex and get enough for a 5 day taiper. it'll be hell, but a slightly less hell. Just make sure to quit taking the subs, or it'll get worse, much worse.
Idk, that's my two-cents and I've kicked heroin atleast a dozen times, sometimes after 14+ months of constant use.

Kratom actually kills around 90% of all its users. That's according to multiple university double blind studies. Heroin only kills like 10% of users.

Red veins are considered the most opiate in their effects generally, can't speak on the borneo part.
56 grams should last you at least two or 3 days perhaps, depending on how much it takes you to get the desired effects.
Best of luck man, hang in there!

Don't listen to this guy.
It might help you. If not, at least you tried. You will probably need to consume a lot to overcome your opiate tolerance. It would be better than going cold-turkey.
As for which strain, get a sampler and try them all, and see what works best for you. People say the red vein strains are most euphoric but I think it depends on the strain/vendor. I found some white sumatra that gives me the best high...

Yah it works for getting off other opiates. Kratom will carry withdrawals but not as bad as heroin. The w/d are more mental and emotional with kratom then physical. I'd switch to kratom for like 2 weeks and then stop using all together.

I'm pretty sensitive to opiates, and yes it is euphoric to me. But I've read enough about heroin users not having any effect, that I'm not surprised it doesn't work for some people, especially opiate users.
I have read accounts of people using it to get off heroin even though it did nothing for them in the way of a high - it just helped relieve the withdrawal symptoms.
I've never been a heroin addict so I couldn't tell you from personal experience. But I think it's worth a shot.
Also consider the possibility that your kratom was bunk, unless of course you tried from a few different sources...

Yeah it's like a cheap vicodin buzz. Anyone in withdrawals would get relief from kratom. The point really isn't to get a HIGH when your trying to get off drugs. It's to make the withdrawals bearable so one doesn't go seek heroin.

I only tried two local sources a few years back, it was a Kratom in alcohol extract from a couple local herbal stores. I've recently noticed its conquest of smoke shops and even some gas stations, so I've thought of giving it another go-- I'm currently 15 days off of Heroin/Meth and all other narcotics. Just weed and beer, so Kratom seems intriguing.

I fucking hate when people say "X.isn't addicting, I've quit a hundred times." Your really just proving how addicting it is. You didn't quit a dozen times, you failed to quit a dozen times, and if you've used recently you have never quit. You can only quit a drug once, all the other times are failed attempts.

I recommend you taper your opiate dosage as far down as you can. Until you are taking 10mg 3 times a day or so, then slowly down to 8mg, then 5mg, etc. Then you jump on kratom as you reach that very last threshold dose.

Are you fucking serious? Okay let me change my words, I've stopped use a dozen times or so-- withdrawl and all, your rite I haven't "Quit" because chances are I'll shoot smack again.
How do you get not being addictive out of what I said?
