Was checking for roots when I discovered this brown soft spot on the base of my beautiful bridgesii.I have four total and my others have rooted they were all in the same 50/50 pottingsoil perlite mix(all I could afford at the time)I read would work .this guy is just not cooperating.my question is should I cut this off or will it heal itself?dont want it spreading and killing my cutting.

Let it dry out, then put it back into dry soil mix.  It looks very minor, should be perfectly fine.

Mechanical damage. Bridgesii are prone to it. Just allow it to dry out.
