No its not.

Big cities suck first of all.
2nd you money doesn’t go nearly as far
3rd most the big city teams suck right now.

You are way overplaying the cities importance in this. Coach/Front Office and Current team are much more important.

Would you quit your job with all the securities you have in place, and uproot your family/friends to go do the same thing in New York? Im mean Chicago is bitch shit compared to NY, right? Better yet why dont all the players go to China? Much bigger cities. China is like 4x the size of America.  I guess we should move a team to Mexico then too. DF is bigger than NY

I love the way you believe you can get the future Pistol Petes & Mailmen to make Utah home

But big city life and big markets are meaningful to today's NBA big shots. It improves their quality of life

So thats why San Antonio has been the best team of the last decade?
Exum will be a star I don’t even think he’s 19 yet and he’s a 6’7 PG that can shut down any PG in the league on defense. He has a huge size advantage over 1’s because he has the size of 2 or 3 but athletic ability/handles of a 1. He’ll be an all-star in the future, count on it. Hayward should have been one this year but thats what happens when you play on a noncompetitive Utah team. By the way U of U is turning into a behemoth in the college world. More relevant than UGA, and a better school

Ya I could see wanting to play in NY, but the other cities are mehhh. Sorry to break it to you but Cities in the USA are more or less the same. Oh another massive conglomeration of people. Oh its a completely flat concrete jungle filled with vagrants and criminals, joyous!

Where would you guys live if money and were not an issue (NBA city or within commuting distance)?
I’ld probably go with Portland. It would be fun, its still small enough to have nature be accessible, and its not flat and gross *cough* Houston *cough*

I don't give a fuck about Georgia. Athens had its day but now I think of both Athens and Austin as like retarded versions of Boulder smeared in crotch rot and humidity.

I think it would be hard to live in the eastern united states.
Pretty much anything east of Texas is a no go for me.

OKC would be a great Basketball town and has better fans than any of the teams Brian is talking about. Fans in small places actually rally around, and take pride in their teams and sports stars. LA is the fakest city in the world so i think that would be rough personally.

For the most part Big Cities only care when their teams are good.
I loved watching Lebron shut those tards in Chi-town up with that nasty buzzer beater.
Fuck the Bulls!

True. But all the bros in their matching fraternity gear is just too much to handle. The chicks down there are pretty hot though

I go to a college in Georgia where the girl to guy ratio is really fucked up (im sure you can guess where) and hot chicks are kinda hard to come by.

What are you in school for Malcolm?
___

I’m taking the Cavs in 6. I dont think they can win a game 7, and honestly the Warriors are probably the safe bet.
Hard to bet against Lebron James though.

Oh and before we get started:
Kudos to Steve Kerr for making it to the finals with home court advantage. His first year on the job no less.
That is very impressive. I hope they give him a fat bonus for that.

James is literally Cleveland’s only offense right now. I don’t know if thats a going to be a winning strategy against a team that has proven it can knock down ridiculous shots.
Golden State is getting killed on the glass as anticipated.

Kyrie has got to get going, but he doesn’t even look healthy yet.
Neither team has started shooting threes yet. If the Cavs can weather that inevitable storm its not going too look good for GS.

Neuroscience. And yeah im taking cavs in 6 as well. The cavs look okay right now.. but once Steph gets started they can't rely on lbj to score every fuckin bucket

Your Utah Man, Bogut got a couple blocked shots.

If LeBron pulls this off his FIRST year back that will be astonishing.

Eh fuck Bogut. Clevelands bigs are killing it, and rebounding is the major difference in this game. Steph is going to get his points at some point tonight.
______

J.R Smith is the best pure 3 shooter in the game. Must be pretty nice having a young Ray Allen coming off your bench whenever you need buckets.

If the Warriors win this Finals, it will forever be remembered as the easiest road to a championship in the history of the L. Must be nice for Curry when every pg he's been matched up with has been hurt. I hope Kyrie is healthy. Both my fav teams (I'm a Bulls AND Cavs fan... I'm an Ohioan.) ate injury-filled-shit-cake this season. smfh. I know it's no excuse since the Cavs made easy work of the injured Hawks and Bulls but still. They shouldn't even have beaten the Bulls. Really wish Memphis would have won that series.

if by that you mean a streaky shooter that doesn't play defense sure. smith is a goon.

only one doesn't matter point in over time and irving rehurt. looking good for the warriors. i just don't want LBJ to get a ring, fuck him.

Context. He ended up playing poorly last night but at the time he’s 3-3 for 9  points plus the halftime buzzer beater.

Aren’t you a Clippers fan? Fuck the Warriors dude. They lucked the out that the injury bug never got them. Lord knows every other team got hit hard. Plus the clippers are a better team than Houston, that collapse was something i still haven’t wrapped my head around. Oh and KD/Paul George were down all season. Its like an asterisk for the entire playoffs.

Yeah, this will make Lebron 2-4 in the finals, but you have to give him a pass on this one. He can't beat the Warriors by himself.

The Cavs were counting on a strong championship run to convince Kevin Love to accept his somewhat diminished role to keep playing for a winner, so this might effect his decision. Cleveland is increasingly looking like a several year project.

Kyrie's got a busted kneecap.
Does anyone still believe LBJ has a chance to pull this thing off?

Although it was a close game last night, because LBJ dropped 40+, they didn't play their best basketball to win.
By GS standards, passing and overall rotations on defense were really sloppy.

Even with that they still got the W which leads me to keep saying Cleveland is fucked.
