    #21762381 - 06/04/15 05:00 PM (8 years, 7 months ago)

http://I'm super pround of my little seedling it's the only one out of 6 that germinate in the jiffy pellets. It's been growing for a few months now However I've noticed it's purple what's up that? Is it a hybrid or something?

Normally they will grow purple when they are getting too much light.

Yup, what kactus said, looks like too much light.  Back off the light for a few days and you should see green return.

It looks good but that peat pellet is absolutely unacceptable. You gotta change that out.

All my seedlings were once purple like that because I put them in full sun.

I didn't care, and continued to grow them in sun,and now they finally acclimated and are all green now.

That's exactly why I say it looks good. It's a very healthy looking seedling. But the peat. :nono:
