Yea me too xd , I think it's normal and perfectly fine for a kid to think like that at some point , it's part of developing imagination .

I think the main reason I hate it's because of the parents of the kids. They are such fucktards , usually like a 400 pound woman saying my kid is special. He is special!!!! They are convinced of it, literaly the kids is fucking with his parents , but they are such retard that they believe everything their kids says.

Literaly the kid is more intelligent than their parents. At this point it's sad for the kid, for the parents and for all the retarded that watches the shows and that belives it

It's amazing how some people fall for the simplest of shit, I still mess with people I first meet them and it's as simple as paying attention to shit people say that most people over look.

The other day a girl next to me at the bar I was at was talking to her friend and I overheard her say to her friend "I went to the funeral for my moms dad a week ago" or something very similar to that, later when I was trying to hit on her I made a joke about it...."I have a feeling you weren't very close to your grandparents, to the point you didn't even consider them that much a part of your family" She was amazed that I guessed that and we both ended up laughing when I told her I figured that much out just by over hearing her say "my moms dad"....anyone who's close with their grandparents, usually call them something like grandpop or something, they don't distance themselves by saying my moms dad.

Another girl at a local corner store became the new manager, just because I'm weird I happen to pay attention to license plates and have a weird habit of remembering them, there was only one car with a PA license plate all the way to the right in the parking lot and no one else was in the store, she said something like "Yeah when I was in my old house" and I just added in "Yeah you came from Philly just recently didn't you?" and same shit as before, she didn't know how I knew when it was as simple as she didn't get her license plate changed yet and she had the only other car there.

If people really wanted to, it's as simple as something that small, and then just keeping it going and pretending like you have no clue how you know. Then just add in some P.T. Barnum statements which sound very specific but are so broad and cover so many people that it sounds like you have some kind of knowledge about their life when really the statement is just targetted to fit almost anyones life yet sound like it is specifically directed to them. And it's as easy as googling it lol. and as that man P.t. Barnum once said ,"There's a sucker born every minute."

I have friends who still believe stupid shit like that is real

"how did you know i was from philly?"

"So no one told you then? Im psychic"

and i bet half the people you say that to will believe it.

Reminds me of the tv show Psych, where he convinces everyone he is psychic when he is really just hyper-observant

What about the paranormal parents who make up this psychic babble in reference to developing children ?
is this their attempt to grant an otherwise average child a chance to be a  special- boosting their self esteem perhaps ? Weird is the new cool?
Maybe in the future these psychic kids will be awarded college grants and ill have to wear a tin foil hat because I'm not one of them.

The few friends of mine who fixate on this Paranormal psychic psychosis are the same kids who advertise against vaccines because according to the websites they read vaccines create diseases like autism , so I discredit much of their pseudo science.

Believe it or not, any "psychic" you ever meet that even slightly seems credible.....that's all there is to it, they pick up on things most people overlook. Hot and cold reading which is when a psychic randomly blurts some shit out about you and pretends like "they're getting a feeling" is such a simple thing and all it takes is a simple barnum statement or some basic information.

Have you ever seen a psychic go into someones house (on tv anyway, I've never seen this shit in real life lol) , they walk all around the house and claim they need to "feel the atmosphere" or something dumb like that, which is code for, I need to quickly survey the area and gather information from all the pictures you have and how you live and anything else lying around that might give away details about your life.

And dip shits fall for it solely because they never met the person and they're too dumb to be able to do it themselves.

And I've even asked people who believe this stuff "Have you ever wondered why when a psychic channels a dead person, the person they are communicating with only responds in vague and mundane responses that are generally what you want to here" and the responses are so off the wall and just reaching for an attempt to keep it possible that I don't even want to repeat them lol.

You would honestly be amazed at how much you can tell about a person from simple body language, the way they dress, their age, facial expressions if you pay enough attention to them when you say specific things.

Derren Brown is the most impressive, he does all of that, and he's the best I've seen, the only difference being he makes you fully aware that it is nothing more then a gimmick and occasionally tells you how he does it.
