try it like once every 2 days, there should be enough humidity in your FC anyway

I don't mean to be argumentative but, why? They seem to be loving their environment and the misting, unless you see something that I don't, and you may well I'm still very much a beginner.

Nah I shoved a fistful on there like a man but yes originally I was going to dunk and roll but invitro pinning made me want to be gentle with my lil babies so I gave them a half hour dunk an topped it with some verm. They have doubled in size since I dunked and topped them 12 hours ago...

Wrong. Provided the water from the previous mist has evaporated, misting 2-3 times a day is recommended. He should have rolled verm onto the sides and since he didn't, misting will be needed.

UHHHHH yeeeahhh shrooms are over 90% water so that is probably the most important thing they need. LOL

Agree with Pasty. Also OP you don't need to worry about the pins when you birth they can be dunked for 24hrs and rolled like any other cake. DON"T mist them every second day they would dry out I'm sure of it and those pins would lose there potential.

Humidity has to always be lower to promote evaporation. 85-95% is best. The surface of mycelium should be 99%. We achieve this with misting.
A chamber with a hundred holes will dry out in no time. Humidity doesn't keep them hydrated, moisture does. Cakes are so small they don't hold much moisture. Imo the more it evaporates, which in turn means it needs to be misted more is best, and the better route than over saturating the mycelium and having to let it dry out.
My motto always will be, it's better to mist too lightly and need to mist in 3 hours over misting too much and having to wait 3 days.
