Where can I find a minimal tek that is more discreet? something that Maybe i can end up growing in the forest after colonization or something that doesn't make a rubbermaid heavy or a tray heavy or involve horse poo.

So, how did you go about the project. Could you possibly provide us with a detailed description of your grow? We may be able to tell you where you went wrong.
As far as discretion, nearly any project can be done on the small scale. Use the search function to find more info on discreet grows, There's loads if you use the "search our forums" option.

Oh I know where I went wrong, I was broke at the time and took a lot of shortcuts wanting shrooms as fast as possible, proper procedures and teks were thrown out the window about as soon as my spores arrived lol, and I chose a difficult strain to start with (P .Azurescens). My whole attitude about cultivation a was off. After 3 months of colonization times my "bulk substrate" I use quotations here because it was a joke of a substrate if I ever saw one, exploded with trichoderma, both times I attempted all I got after a month of colonization was mold. So finally I talked myself into following a tek, or two, since I'm attempting two different teks at the moment (tl's one flush wonder, and a basic pf tek in a modified sgfc. Things are going pretty well

Glad to her you've decided to follow a tek, if followed exactly, the pf tek has been proven the best way to get your feet wet in this hobby.
PS: azures are tricky. I've never tried to cultivate them purely for how finicky they are, and I like things simple. Cubes are your best bet for a beginner. I would suggest either a B+ or Cambodian, both are excellent choices for their willingness to forgive some small newb screw-ups.

Awesome! So you say this time around it's been 6 months. Do you mean 6 months from inoculation until that pic? If so that's a suspiciously long time for a cake to colonize and fruit imo.

No haha that would suck, it's been six months since I started my first attempt, these pins are about 18 days after inoculation.

Ok, that makes more sense, and is far better
Well, good luck to you sir, you seem to have things figured out. Otherwise, the search engine is your best friend here Congratz on the pins

Do you mean outside without a FC?
If temperatures are good where you live, a monotub would work outdoors. Without an FC it would be hard to keep everything moist all the time.
