Is my generation incapable of not cursing?

So I was thinking about it the other day and I realized the majority of people my age have some basic need to use cuss words. Especially when they don't have the articulation to efficiently display disdain for whatever they are talking about. I'm around it so much even I cuss quite a bit.
Has this always been going on? Do young people like to cuss or has it gotten worse to a point where after time my generation has got to a point where will be still cussing at age 70 or 80?
It seems to me over the years cussing has become very acceptable and the norm.
Do you guys think cuss words are a way of dumbing down our language or do you put any merit into it.

Everyone just realised that language doesn't fucking matter. It's more emphatic to just fucking swear before you say something than to use more elegant language. Shit.

that's my point it matters a little really. At this rate one day there will be slang and abbreviation in business and serious matter
A speech at a funeral in the future
" Yah so, like I really loved her so much, nah what I'm sayin" and dat motherfuckin bitch ass cancer took her to heaven! Asshole cancer just does whatever the fuck it wants. But she was a Buddhist so she belibed she would not need to r.I.p but brb, I will miss you Peach/Centaurina the turd:sobs: "
Maybe that's a little out there but my point stands that the utilization of vocabulary is often a very nice growing and learning tool? Or is language just a joke. It's not that I'm not on-board I cuss all the time. Most times because it's plain just easier to get my point across without using too many words.
This all fine and good in the private life but at jobs I've found myself swearing or in public occasionally and I want to portray a deeper more sophisticated person. Like I said though most often I don't give a fuck where or when I cuss unless its around children. I'm wondering if I should change that habit in my private life so one day I can maybe not cuss as much.
I think at this point it usually doesn't have too much offense behind most words. I'm just starting to think when I'm chilling with friends and someone says fuck every 2 or 3 minutes it detracts from the original conversation. The other day I was very sick with bronchitis and my buddies decided to come over and it was me,my best friend and 2 people I've met at parties but just met again for the first time . First few hours were chill as fuck.
We drank beers smoked crumble and talked about tripping and various things(Including a freemason grandmaster in my family.) It was getting late and I was sick as a dog and I just kept randomly saying fuuuck or shhhiiiiit about things I had to do I was getting anxious about and they saw me taking care of my gma and took the hint and left but it made me realize every time I run out of words in a conversation I say fuck or shit. Part of that is I never dab so I slur my words and say shit like that sometimes if I'm really fucking high.Quote:

Even the sad fuckers that do not curse will tend to use like half-ass curse words, like fracking or shoot, but who are we fooling here really? We all know you mean fucking shit on a horse dick when you say things like that.
I see alot of people swearing around little kids, and little kids swearing. Ultimately I don't care, but I'll admit sometimes it makes me a little uneasy. Like I think under 12yo who curse are bad, especially when they're better at it than me.

I can see a future where some of our current curse words have become so commonplace that they are no longer curses. It's happened in our history many times before, just the evolution of language.

I noticed even Tony Robbins even uses fuck sometimes in his coaching seminars. lol But I think you have to look at the demographics... Uneducated people probably use curse words more as you said, they don't know how to articulate what their thinking. Tony Robbins market is those people who are trying to change their lives, so its just a way to connect to them better on their level.

Cursing can show a lack of vocabulary, but a really creative string of curse words is still impressive ...you cocksucking, dicknosed, spooge gargling, titmouse!

It doesn't matter what people say, it's the content of their message that counts. Like if I say fuck you you son of a bitch in a nice way how can you take offense?

I fucking hate the argument "But think of the children, they shouldnt be subjected to that kind of language"
News flash, kids curse way more then adults, they're just experts at filtering it when adults are around.
Why don't we stop defining them as curse words and treat them like every other word? Words only have as much power as you give them, and by restricting any of them it gives the word a power overy people.
Not trying to bring up race but for example, black people, most Ive met don't like if white people use the word nigga or nigger even if it wasn't meant to be offensive, but all that does is give racist people a perfect way to piss them off and gIves the word the powe they nwe'd to offend peoplease who dont lIke it. Without a reaction, all words are powerless, so treat them all as if they're just words, and they lose their power.
I grew up saying fag and will never stop, because I've never used it in a homosexual context, to me it's just synonymous with idiot, retard, dumbass, bitch but people still associate it as a derogatory or cuss word towards gays, when really I'm redefining the word and using it in a different context. You can never get rid of a word, you can only change the context in which it is used.
And no it doesn't show a lack of intelligence to use curse words instead of eloquently explaining something, unless of course you're arrogant enough to define yourself as more intelligent because you personally don't use them, which is quite pathetic and conceited and a poor attempt to feel superior to people simply because they dont use the same words you do. How else am I supposed to emphasize how much it pisses me off when people fucking say that. See what I did there?
