Pleurotus Wellington.
    #21757615 - 06/03/15 02:23 PM (8 years, 7 months ago)

Culture was sourced from shroomery user "Grey".  Culture was subcultured into petri dishes of enriched LME agar from fungiperfecti.  Once agar in petris was colonized they were transferred into quart jars of sterilized rye with 20% horse manure and 5% gypsum both by volume.  Colonized grain spawn was spawned to pasteurized wheat straw inside of a 2 foot spawn bag.

6/3 - pins!

Open air.  Oyster mushrooms enjoy a much less of a humid environment over cubes, as well as, are a lot less co2 tolerant.

Good info so bigger holes in their FC? More FAE?

I've been meaning to get my mits on some Oyster mycelium I have all
the supplies . I could try cloning
a wild specimen but theyre always covered in flies and slugs by the time I find them.

Presuming you are planning on fruiting them out of a monotub fruiting chamber, then yes.  Bigger holes un-stuffed with poly fil would be good.  Also, removing the lid from the fruiting chamber during fruiting is good.
