1st attempt in 2 years, need advice on old agar plate

Hey all, I got the bug again and I'm just starting to get things in shape for a monotub. I took stock of my inventory last night and starting prepping a couple of different LC solutions. After my inventory check I have on hand a multi spore solution that has been in the fridge for 2 years, it looks like I made it yesterday, the water is crystal clear and the spores are nice, dark and abundant.
I made one LC solution with the simple water and honey and the other was WBS boil water with a bit of coffee and water (100ml boil water, 200 ml water). I was set on trying these two solutions and then I was just poking around the forums and once again saw that it is not recommended to go with a LC with a multi spore.
So if I take the advice of not using a multi injection with LC, the only other thing I have is a 2 year old agar plate. The agar was stored at 70-72 degrees. I took a look at it last night and in the center of the agar is a 1/2 inch high and about a quarter size in diameter white puffy cloud of mycelium. What surrounds the mycelium is a dried red agar with a slightly brown tinge on the top surface (I will snap a pic when I get home). I think the brown is just the change in color of the agar due to zero air and zero moisture.
Do you guys think I should just cut out the mycelium and drop it in one of the LC's or maybe try to move a bit of it to a new agar plate or pitch it and start all over? I don't know if I have the materials to make up more agar, but I might.
I'm only trying to get a LC/HLC going right now so I haven't prepped any spawn jars yet, but I would like to get things rolling as soon as possible. I really don't care if I waste a few days playing with what I have on hand ready to go, but to try and get another agar plate going just to put into the LC's seems like a time suck.
Thanks

Buy some agar powder & make some plates, then put 1 drop of your spore solution on a few of them. Transfer growth once or twice then inoculate grain masters or a fresh LC.

I made up 8 agar plates last night and I'm just going to try to transfer this 2 year old myc and go print to agar with my GT and wollogong prints to see what happens. I think I'll just ditch the LC idea as it didn't go well last time I tried it.
sorry for the pic quality I just snapped it before leaving the house. This is the plate from 2 years ago, I think it looks ok and when I made this I did not have any GE so it's been sitting sterile for all this time.
