Habitat: Woods, under sloping maple tree, found near area where different types of wood are cut but none of that wood has been scattered where the mushroom grows, it's growing near the bottom trunk of maple tree out of the dirt that's packed tightly and seems dry on top of trying soil but moist underneath. Located in Canada, British Columbia, Vancouver Island.
Gills: White, attached, gills, Couldn't see gills when young, prominent when matured.
Stem: 5cm to 7cm didn't measure that's by eye, 1cm to 2cm, white, smooth when young splits when mature and old, solid and worms starting to eat, thick full stalk.
Cap: 8cm when young and 1in to 2.5in when mature, caramel color when young to white with brown splitting on cap top, smooth when young not slimy and rough when mature not slimy, spherical, concave.
Spore print color: Very important! Not printed yet will proceed tonight and take pictures tomorrow sorry.
Bruising: Color that the mushroom bruises, seems to stain yellow on outsides of cut stem.
Other information: Scent of the mushroom was a bit rubbery I cannot get a good scent because of my cold and that sucks cause it's good to know.
Pictures: Sorry these are backwards I am on a phone its hard to navigate, but the mature ones are first and the young ones are last.

I hope a TI confirms. I thought that looked like a mushroom on the cover of one of my books so I grabbed it and opened it to exactly the right page. It was kinda freaky how fast I IDd that so I want to see if others agree.

Uhmm the print didn't take like a lot of one's I do when my fridge is to cold, it's my mycology fridge and I just moved and it's setting is just been changed. Guess a print is tomorrow if one of the specimens are good enough to collect, I aplogize in advance for this and thank you for the ID when it is.
