My ps4 could handle it.
Jk thats awesome. You should try moving the whole building at once. I gave my friend a heart attack with the "move whole building" feature.
He didn't know the game had it and shareplayed with me(ps4 lets you connect ps4's over the internet so i can play his game for him while he watches, really helpful for when a game gets to hard for you) to show me his settlement. I went and shifted the whole building and he atarted screaming his head off.
I put everything back as im not enough of an asshole to do that. Also he left to use the bathroom and when he came back i had the game just sitting one button press from deleting save files blows my mind they'd let you shareplay that far.

Makes fuck all difference to me. I play a male in first person who's always wearing power armour (because fusion cores are really easy to come by) so my looks don't matter.
Infact, I could make my dude look like butthead but still have 10 charisma and sex up all my companions. Just as soon as I put the fist-o programming into Nick Valentine.
Had not wanted to post the image, as it is a little large, but the author already had an image up that covers this.
But, for all intents and purposes, X92 is essentially just a female version of Power Armour. Power Armour makes the player look all big and mechanically muscle-bound, X92 uses ridiculous female proportions to achieve a similar effect.
DX typically does highly detailed armour mods. As far as I can recall, this was actually his first time providing a mod that changes gameplay at all.
His Skyrim stuff was dynamic in terms of style and material textures

But can relate to the sentiment of not seeing outfits -- play in first person as well, so the only time I see them is during VATS and when I do screenshots.
Ultimately, the X92 buffs will not matter to you. For a male character you would have to custom port it over to be worn, and then since the buffs only work while wearing the suit, none of them would apply while you were in Power Armour.

It does look good but I'm gonna wait for some wh40k power armour because in the grim darkness of the far future, shoulder pads are really fashionable. There's a weapon cricket sells, it's a legendary tommy gun called spray n pray where the bullets explode on impact. That's close enough to a bolter for my tastes. Deals with mirelurks and power armoured fools a treat.

Already have by accident. Nearly had a heart attack. This way before most of this stuff was added and when it was still a basic structure. It took me a minute of waiting to exit back out of it. It was like .01 FPS or something. I'm approaching the limits of what my computer can handle with decking out my Penthouse. If it gets too bad I might have to go and mod my own custom single piece flooring instead of the makeshift flooring I'm using.

That portion of modding would be completely new to me, I don't even have a general understanding how of how it works though over the past few days messing with different mods and stuff I think I've began to understand it a bit. I've taught myself to do a lot of different things before I'm sure I could do this if I really wanted to, just not sure if it'd be worth all the trouble. ...
Love how the apartment turned out, the floor really brings the room together.
Think the biggest issue of complication comes in how you want to handle the modding. You could work out a system of interlocking tunnels that players can build into any location. On the other hand, after the Creation Kit drops you should be able to more or less add a tunnel system to empty worldspace wherever you want. Do not see how that would be all that different from non-loading screen housing mods in Skyrim.
A good settlement to play around with it at first may be Coastal Cottage; it already has a hole into the ground that could give a pretty natural look being extended into a tunnel.
People have done some impressive things without the Creation Kit already, but it makes things far nicer to deal with. My own experience with Oblivion and Skyrim Creation kit was limited, but it did not take much effort for me to figure out how to place objects and custom-made NPCs. It has tools to alter existing game spaces, create new spaces, program character inventories and AI patterns.
At some point, will likely be turning some of my characters into followers for other characters again.

What's your favorite song in fallout? Mine is butcher pete, but since it's been in every one(well a different part of.the song is in each fallout) if i had to choose a new one it's either the wanderer, or crawl out through the fallout. I find myself singing crawl out pretty regularly.

Well, to be honest I spend 90+% of my time listening to the classical station, and could not really pick out a favourite from it.
In terms of Diamond City Radio and what I catch myself singing, Maybe still probably holds the most special place in my heart. Sense of nostalgia when it plays, since it was the song in the original intro to the series.
But the intro may have also even hit me differently simply due to being a Canadian.

Decorations so far. Not concerned with privacy obviously. I'm an assassin alive after the end the of the world, why should I care if someone sees me taking a shit? Still got some work to do. Got a kitchen/dining area, sleeping area, bathroom, and med center downstairs. Up stairs I got my weapons and lounge/recreational area.

Maybe by the inkspots was a really good song, but whoever was directing the music in the original fallout had good taste. Sadly, even though they were onto a good thing with Jeremy Soule with Skyrim/Oblivion, ehh, no. I mute all the music in fallout 4 because it annoys the ever living piss out of me. The least offensive station I find is radio freedom. Probably a good thing as it's the only useful radio station with the artillery announcements. Too bad my artillery strikes are bugged in most settlements.
Terminator armour, not as iconic as the bog standard power armour, but it's supposed to be a walking tank. I'm told in the fluff that it was adapted from suits to allow people to work inside nuclear reactors and other highly radioactive sites, so should find itself right at home in the capital wasteland.
I still get goosebumps when I hear this theme, I can even forgive the horrid compression artefacts on the audio. Also by Jeremy Soule.

Jeremy Soule does some fantastic things with music. He was Morrowind era as well, and have spent more time listening to Elder Scrolls soundtracks than probably any other game.
Have rotated some of the Elder Scrolls tracks through on the radio station song replacer. Just hate having to convert and rename files to fit them in -- then I lose track of what songs I replaced which songs with, it is a bit of a mess.
MGS5 and GTA5 did it better, but they built it into game.
Have no doubt that once someone figures out how to add a whole new radio frequency with a dedicated track list it will happen though.

New gear mod for today has me really pleased in terms of quality, also appears to work for both male and female characters as of the initial upload.

Like that they really paid attention to getting the details over into game, with the hook and dagger on the outfits, and the textures of the different materials.
The mod also notably comes with a fully moddable Crossbow

But really it is just a handgun with a retexture; can be changed to a number of different ammo options.
Getting crashes to desktop trying to craft a sight for it though, so there appears to be a minor bug in the mod.

As an aside, Shroomslip, not sure if you saw the graphics updates in the 1.3 patch, but Bethesda has put in something that might make your life a bit more easy for destructible fences. https://giant.gfycat.com/DisguisedInsistentGoshawk.gif
Would still need to give walls a sort of health value and have the models change when the wall is destroyed and penetrated. They did pay attention to what type of material is being shot though, so wooden walls fire off shards of wood debris while stone throws off rocks.

So that's not a mod, it's something Bethesda themselves put in?
That's one someone else is going to have to tackle though. I really doubt I could hope to pull that one off, there's got to be all kinds of crazy shit to do to make a mod like that work.

When the G.E.C.K. comes out, there will be at least some parts that I should be able to port over. Interestingly, Cannabis Skyrim was one of the most detailed mods I had for Skyrim, in terms of how much it added into game as mechanics and objects.
Things I should be able to do: Port over the plants; do not think I will be able to program them to grow from sprout to flower, but it might be easy enough to have them appear as vegetative normally and flowering when they are harvestable, basically like existing crops in game have two appearances in that sense.
Might be able to make equipable blunts and joints; would need Blender in order to port over the animations though.
Might be able to have NPCs 'smell' and comment on the player smoking. If I can do that, I should also be able to make a persuasion-based sales option for them. Do not think I could get the whole thing with them asking to buy on their own to run though.
Suppose the hemp robes would work to be ported over.
As for the visual effects of the drugs, there appears to be ways to tweak that already (as evidenced by some of the effects used in the Nuclear Weather mod), so that might not be too difficult to do with the Creation Kit.
This is all my speculation though, will not have a real sense of what does and does not work until the GECK is out.
Really miss my grow room from Skyrim

Not to mention the magic staff that let me plant fields all across the countryside.

Yeah, it is a new graphics effect. After downloading the 1.3 patch through steam, it showed up as a new graphics option in my launcher menu.
Launcher-->Options-->Advanced submenu. Weapon Debris is a new category, shows up under the new HBAO+ Ambient Occlusion option.
Am not certain it can be used for such a task, since I presume it would not show up for weaker computers.
It would not surprise me if someone already has plans to try and tackle something like this though.

And what good is all that without Ammo?

Had to use Tinypic to upload. Supporter account expired and I'm way over my upload quota

Have not been terribly enthralled with a lot of the recent mod uploads; a large number of HUD mods to move bars around the screen, number of sound effect mods.
If anyone plays a male character and wants to try x-92 Courser Armour there was a male conversion put up though: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9713/?
But I did find out that I could build on top of the expressway at Finch Farm even without mods, so that was nice. Good view.

And mods have not been a total loss; there have been a number of various gun mods to choose from (nothing spectacular to feature at the moment though), and Elianora put up a new outfit mod Eli's Rugged Outfits: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9690/? And a glasses mod I meant to do while back by the same author: http://www.nexusmods.com/fallout4/mods/9297/?

The mod have various pant and shorts sets that male characters can wear, but they can also wear the kilt as well.

Since 1.3 my settlement mod has been broken, it had institute walls, plate glass windows, better generators and things of that sort.
It also had planters and double beds! Does anyone have a linky to a 1.3 compatible mod that adds this stuff? It's strange, but ever since getting a lifetime membership to nexusmods, their entire site loads slowly for me.
