i also find it hilarious that you think the modders all do it out of the kindness of their hearts.  most of the good mods, people spent a really long time working on, then made their mod page look all fancy as well....those guys most of them didn't do it out of kindness, they did it to land jobs, to use their mods as references.

And?

Taking days to install mods is just unreasonable when it doesn't have to be that way at all.  There's ways to program at the same time on the same piece of work, there's also ways to merge mods together, its just nobody is bothering to do it.  Of course im entitled and i should be, anything that is far more trouble than it should be deserves to be called out for it, plain and simple.
...

Mod Organizer on a clean install of Skyrim, easiest way to handle mods.

I have 353 mods currently in my mod list, I turn them on or off depending on which character I play.  I also have multiple profiles saved, so I can do things like switch between playing on the monitor and playing on the Oculus easily.

Mod Organizer manages downloads from the Nexus, and puts everything in a simple toggle-on toggle-off list format.

It also has the added bonus of running in a folder separate from the Skyrim folder, and never actually overwriting files by mods that run on the same task.

Took me a little bit to set up Mod Organizer itself, but since it has been up and running the most time-consuming portion of mod management has been the actual downloads themselves.

you sound like you're just making shit up.

how on earth does it take you hours to "find" mods? all you do is go to the ES Nexus and fucking search for them. or look through catagories

and what mod takes HOURS to install lmao? i can download AND install 3+GB mods in like 2 hours, tops.

Also, there was only ONE PERSON who got a job at Bathesda bescause of his mod. and he literally spent hundreds of hours on it, and also got his friends to spend alot of time as well.

I'd like to see proof that regular modders are using these as resumes

yes you can find the HD textures and download 3 gb's, in 2 hours congrats.

Tell you what, take my list, go search for them, download them all, put them into a folder, and take a screenshot, you won't even be able to do that in 2 hours, so go suck a fat one.

also good job on showing your level of education, apparently 2 hours isn't 'hours'

i didnt say that installing every mod on that list would take 2 hours.

Who sits down and installs 50 mods at once anyways?

install 2 or 3, play for awhile, and install a few more

and you dont even need to use mods to play the damn game. there are so many new features in FO4 that it will be completely unnecessary for at least a month when you finish the main game

Yeah I can think of maybe 2-3 modders that have been headhunted by major developers, and this after investing enormous amounts of unpaid personal time into making whatever mod they were famous for, and an even more enormous amount of time sunk into making shitty, low-quality mods to get better at it. Their time would've been far better spent developing original games or getting a relevant degree if they wanted to get in

exactly because you know you're full of shit.  When i went to mod its not just searching for the fukin mods, you have to read each mod and find the requirements and capability patches, go through each category which has like 20 pages in each one..... u guys are full of shit and you know it, it easily took 2 hours just to get the dam things to my computer.  you find one mod for magic then you go look at another try to see which one does what, which ones better....shit takes alot of time, most of the mods are old and made redundant by others.........

so if you arn't going to accept the challenge, i win.

you should look at the thread your in

modding in fallout and skyrim is exactly the same. no difference at all. even the construction sets are virtually identical
