    #21751864 - 06/02/15 09:20 AM (8 years, 7 months ago)

My first post, let me know if anything else is needed. Thanks!

1st species

Habitat:
a bed full of wood chips.

Gills:
tan and brown... a ring around the edges as in the pic.

Stem:
about inch and half long and 1/4 inch in total circumference... very fibrous

Cap:
umbrella shaped

Spore print color:
brown

Bruising:
Color that the mushroom bruises, if any.
species 1 pics

2nd species.

Habitat: Wood chips/same bed

Gills: tan

Stem: Thick and white, about 2 inches long

Cap: brown and about the size of a small fist

Spore print: white
species 2 pic

Species 3

Habitat: wood chips/same beds... far more abundant than the other 2, though I'm not sure if it's actually a different species from no. 2

Gills: tan,

Spore print:  white, I Think... I took 3 spore prints of this one and let sit for about 20 hours.  I can barely make anything out on the white sheets of paper I placed them on.

Looks like Inocybe sp. for #1 and #3, possibly same species, but #1 is too old to tell. Check odor from the fresher ones.

#2 could be Melanoleuca sp., but a gill shot would help.

Here's a gill shot of 2.
