Is it infected?
    #21751754 - 06/02/15 08:27 AM (8 years, 7 months ago)

Hello Shroomery,
today a B+ Growkit came with the mail and I spotted some green-ish things on the cake.
My question is, does this look good or should I get a different one?
I am by far no expert with this, so excuse my worries

well bud that appears to just b some bruising . green mold will take on a powdery surface texture and will grow very rapidly. sometimes the tint of bruising can b confused will mold 2 the untraind eye .so imo giv it a couple days and if the spot grows noticeably its mold however it doesnt look it frm what i can discern frm the pic . green molds typically reveal themselves on the surface . bcuz the substrate is fully colonized leaving the uncolnzd surface the most vulnerable

Looks good to me man, though I'm curious about that greenish blue spot - How would it even bruise in that spot?

I see a small blue spot, but thats nothing to worry about. Its just the myc bruising either from temp change, too much or too little water in that small area.
