Went for a walk in the woods today. Did a critter lay eggs or is this a fungus, beginning of a fungus?.

Check this cool video out>>>http://footage.framepool.com/en/shot/862246404-carposoma-slime-mold-rotting-disgusting
cool vid, strange how it globulates and morphs, goes from white to red to black to brownish. Looks identical.. perhaps i'll monitor this as per its just a 8 min walk away.

Yes. Slime moulds are very strange and interesting organisms. I'd say you'll be well rewarded if you keep tabs on that plasmodium.

They could be. It's either eggs or fungal. Hopefully the op can update us.

Well. just got back from a walk.. the white blobs are gone. Im pretty sure what log it was and those white things stuck out like a sore thumb. I figure its either A: dumb human wiped it off with its shoe B: a critter came by and ate it C: slugs eggs hatched. This is all in a 24hr period. If it wasn't touched by critter or human then i don't think the slime mold would have vanished. would it? But I did find these tiny mushrooms in front of the log, perhaps growing from soil or dead sticks.

Found this near by.. looked like a very large slug beast. This is a polypore correct?

I think Stemonitis is a good suggestion for your first ones. Slime molds are tough though. But I don't reckon that spot to be choice for slugs to hatch.
New ones probably in Mycenaceae.
