Nice harvest, it looks like. I've never grown stones on the account of why grow them when you can grow mushrooms. On the other hand , I have a few glass jars that are just wasting space since I've moved on to muda bottles. What are the pros and cons of growing stones vs growing mushrooms?

Stones have more weight and require little to no attention

So it's a great side project if you have the extra jars? What variety would you recommend?

You inoculate them and forget about them. They're pretty easy, and the trip is quite pleasant. Great to run while your growing shrooms.
Galindoi Atl. #7 makes some big stones.

Nice stones!
Stones are easy to forget about when your growing actual mushrooms. A buddy of mine has a few dozen qts of stone jars that are almost 2 years old! I should convince them to bust a few up!

Was this from MS or a clone? I have a clone on agar now that forms stones on the plate, thinking I'll add bags of stones to my list of stuff to try

Now I want to grow the stones. And now I also want to go on a long hiking trip with good friends. I'm inspired.

Oh man! Those look incredible!
Very nice and being a year old, they should be nice and potent. I just dove into growing stones last month and I can't wait to dig them up! I have some Tampanensis that will be ready after August and I am going to noc up some agar with ATL#7 ms tomorrow. I hope mine come out looking so sweet!
