That is agar and is a really decent tek, hamloaf is a great cultivator. That maybe a little difficult for you to pull off for a first timer although,  I do love your ambition. Try this tek out.

Maybe he could try Muda's bottle tek. It's pretty easy.

If I were you I would definitely follow spacies advice and follow frank horrigan's bulk tek. I love hpoo and would almost always suggest adding atleast some poo to a bulk substrate. But for your fisrt grow, let's try to keep your chances of success a little higher.

It's not about it being less successful, it's about you being more successful. Proper pasteurization can be a bit tricky for a beginner. Mold spores don't readily germinate on coir or verm. It would be best for you to start with CVG until your pasteurization process is mastered, them you can m9ve onto a more nutritious substrate such as hpoo.

Let's focus on agar before we start with anything else. Do you have a print or a syringe to work with?

I could easily practice pasteurization monday, ans get more poo later. I can literally get it free... possibly sheep for cheap also, so when the agar is ready i have all that down

Pasteurization will only create a window of about 2 eeeks for your culture to take a foot hold before something else can germinate and establish itself. But if proper pasteurization isn't reached,...wham! You get the mean green and you don't want the mean green. Without any experience, it would be best for you to keep the odds on your side until you get the hang of the whole process first. Do what you feel you need to young eager one but I strongly urge you to take my advice.

I can not weigh in on that. I know nothing about brewing beer.

I think ill take my chances... instead of doing large buckets i think ill pasteurize a bunch of small ones so im not wasting a ton. If im gonna be patient and learn a certain tek, i may as well just DO IT. By doing small batches repeatedly

You can pasteurize substrate in glass quart jars in a stock pot or a pc. Just bring substrate to field capacity and then place in jars. Place aluminum foil around mouth of jars and then place in pot that is filled with enough water to come up about 2" above the bottom of the jars. Turn burner on stove top to medium/low. I usually place analog (digital ones seem to get water logged) thermometer in center jar. Gently press it down into substrate until the back of the gauge touches the aluminum foil you just punctured. Keep a hawks eye on the thermometer, do not leave it unattended for any amount of time. It will take forever for the temp to start to go up but but once it does it can really take off so be patient. As soon as the thermometer reaches 125*F turn off the heat and remove from burner. Place lid on pot and let sit until cool. If you don't trust it, wait 15 minutes and check temp again. The temp should peak at 165*F and not fall below 140*F before the 2 hour mark. That is it in a nutshell.

If you're using agar skip lc or li until you think they're something that can help you out. If you're using agar just use the agar for now

How would i move from agar to poo without a solid colony to spread... I could just change the heat to switch into fruit mode [so to speak]  the only question is how i'll keep it at 85 to fruit.

Next order of business. Who has good spores, should i ship it to a place that isnt my house, and should i mix two or just go with one? Also, i have to mix h-poo with hay, right?
