Collected 20 Lb horse poo, Don't need for 2 weeks, how to store?

As the title says. Collected 20 lb horse poo. The farm I got it from also had old stuff way in the back of the pile. I mean like decomposed, looked just like normal soil. The farmer I asked said thats the best stuff for growing in. I got 10 lb of the decomposed stuff (over a year old) and some fresh stuff ( maybe a month old )
How should I store it until I need it? should I lay it out and dry it? Should I pasturise right away?
Also which will be better for bulk sub. Fresh or old?

Old is better. Dry it. Leech the new stuff

If it's that new, leech twice a day for a week. I do mine in the grass. Then pile it up and compost it for 2 to 3 weeks making sure to water it. Spread out and soak again a few times and let it dry bone dry. I'm getting to the point where my source only has fresh poo so I start working it a month in advance batches now.

Store the year old stuff in the fridge after wrapping VERY well (at least three layers) The new stuff has to be dried and leached for quite a while, one month minimum. Dry, leach, dry, leach, repeat over and over. Your roof might work well for this.
I know it's tempting to get free poo but I figure my time is worth something. I'm happy to buy dried pasteurized hpoo.

Where can you buy it? I looked for like 2 months. All I can find localy is 20 manure mix with peat moss.
Would that stuff work as a bulk sub?

A month old is fine. No need to leech. Just put it in a tote with the lid off

A month old is pretty rich. Seems like an open invitation for contams.

Depends. A month old that's been baking in the sun is plenty old enough.

If it's dry and smells like dirt, it's good.

Yeah true. I suppose it all depends on the conditions for that month.

The old, composted manure (like dirt) is not what you want.
You want the newer stuff. When you shred the 2 month old nuggets, it will look like broken down straw.
