Yeah its rough being addicted but this is the best drug to be addicted to, so I guess I am lucky I dont drink or smoke cigarettes or use harder drugs.
I am going to work on tapering down my doses, and will try that maintence schedule you mentioned with a few capsules (eventually). I am also going to order some tianeptine, etizolam and whatever else I can think of to help and then after tapering down I will try to use some substitutions to get through the withdrawal.
I am going to try to drastically reduce my usage over the next few months. Hopefully I can get down to like 1 teaspoon 3x a day.

Its not really that bad to get off it, I did it recently in Europe so I know what its like. But the one thing I would need is etizolam because I cant sleep at all for like five days after coming off it, and that is impossible. So I would at least need to be able to knock myself out for five hours a night while getting through it. That would make it so much easier. I also want tianeptine to take during the day, because its also a mu opiod agonist.

Have you guys tried tapering with Stem and vein kratom? Completely takes the edge off and lowers your tolerance.

I did take only stem and vein for about 6 days once but it didnt seem to lower my tolerance much although it gave me a good high on its own.

Interesting, personally I feel it helps reduce my tolerance and alleviates the w/d symptoms.

This is my conclusion from daily use.
You need to decide if the benefits outweigh the negatives.
At the start of an order, you might notice you get only benefits. You get energy, relaxation, ect. But as you go further you get less of a high and more time where you are actually in withdrawal and craving it.
I might order it again, but daily use is actually not something I would want to do again. I hate being tied down to any substance. If you are trying to get off it just cold turkey it and by the second half of the third day the worst is over.

If I crave it for no good reason, I'm not doing it. Kind of a motto.
I read L-Theanine greatly eases withdrawals.
This thread has interested me as of late: https://www.reddit.com/r/kratom/comments/2ybe0w/agmatine_kratom_and_a_decline_of_tolerance/
Agmatine is mentioned here also;
"I'm bringing this information over from another forum (Nature's Herb forum) as it can be of great use to people here.
This is potentially a new paradigm for overcoming addiction!
To relive both physical and mental addictions try the following for an unlimited period of time:
Chronic low dose iboga (threshold meaning no hallucinations etc)
Blue Lotus chronically before bed (balances/resensitizes the entire dopamine system)
NMDA antagonist stack which results in NMDA upregulation and resensitization of all neurotransmitters. It also removes tolerances to both endogenous and exogenous chemicals. Examples: Zinc, Magnesium, Agmatine, NAC, garlic, parsley, Memantine
Prolactin inhibitors (notably for males, prolactin directly counters dopamine and visa versa) Examples: Chaste Berry (D2 agonist), Zinc (its a DRI), Magnesium, Vitamin B6, Vitamin E
Critical: Avoidance of ALL sources of wheat and dairy. Both result in the production of opioid peptide's that trigger the opioid receptors which can hinder the addiction recovery process.
Optional - Lemon essential oil (releases oxytocin which is the bonding hormone and provides natural sustainable antidepressant effects)
This resolves both the physical and mental side of addiction.
Personally, I am not an addict but engage in all of these regularly for general neuronal and health maintenance.
Also, the NMDA upregulation (resulting from NMDA antagonsism) provides a good cognitive boost. Its also provides antidepressant effects."
Maybe Salvia divinorum could be substituted for Iboga as both effect kappa.

We wouldn't
But me and moonie are pretty much dosing it everyday all day
I think I should take this as a sign to not abuse harder opiates..

Cannabis and kratom definitely taught me that as well, if I can form a habit with kratom and cannabis as easily as I have I can't even imagine trying heroin.

I was using kratom to treat my ADD cause my concerta was crap, but once I was prescribed vyanyse I feel better.
Doing kratom every day started to make me foggy brained and tired and have bad sleep. This is the complete opposite of what it did in the beginning.
If I order again, I might just be a weekend warrior to get all the benefits and none of the other stuff.

My willpower sucks with kratom. I took about 3 weeks off cold turkey (I was out of town) and as soon as I got back I started dosing again every day despite intending to limit my use to a couple days a week
I could probably handle quitting cold turkey, but the benefits still outweigh the costs at this point in my addiction.

I am pretty bad too, I generally will take it if I have it.
At least for days to weeks but I am good at taking regular breaks even just couple day ones. Sometimes much longer though.
Today is day 2-3 of no krat for me and I wish I could just eat some instead of drink tea 'Tis good tea though.

how do yall eat/ drink your kratom?
i mix mine in with green tea. ill add green tea to a 32oz gatorade bottle and add the kratom. from there i just shake the bottle violently before every sip. hits strong, hits fast, and the green tea adds its benefits to the mix as well.

Toss n wash or capsules for me almost always.
When I first started I would mix it with water but drinking it is much harder than washing it down or encapsulating it.

I am like over a week without it and the physical symptoms are mostly gone day four. The emotional stuff is still there.

I really only had one night of meh sleep. I think cannabis is partly to blame for that though as it definitely messed my sleep up last night
I have not noticed any mental stuff really but I don't dose very high or for to long usually cannabis has probably helped take the edge off too.

In the midst of the withdrawal I got insanely depressed and hopeless. You just gotta remind yourself it is because you are in withdrawal.
