I'm curious as well. Never heard of it before.

Well I definitely enjoy Kratom and it makes me forget about all the problems in the world. The problem is I could see myself getting very addicted to it and also the last time I took it I had awful itching. This is probably from my immune system releasing anti-histamine, which is basically saying fuck taking this, it's a poison.

or do what i do
i get a 32oz gatorade, drink a few gulps, add the kratom, shake violently, drink the mix, shake, drink, shake, drink.
the gatorade covers the taste, makes it easy to swallow, and it kicks in quick as shit. youre basically doing a toss and wash.
the 00 caps work well too. you can get 500 for under 10.00. its about 14 caps for 8gs. really not that bad.
no dosage discussion on the furoms
but i took a table spoon and was able to easily pill 14 000 caps 000caps can hold anywhere from 700-1600mL in the fabrication process 00 just under 775mL
so if you have a table spoon of water or kratom or watever two should roughly get you in the 5grams dosage range

I'm gonna take a wild guess here and assume you've never tried a traditional opiate (oxycodone, hydrocodone, heroin, etc) before, correct?
If you think Kratom makes you forget about all your problems, that's nothing. Real opiates basically give you the same feeling but amplified exponentially. As far as addiction, yes it's easy for kratom to become very habitual kind of like weed but addiction to the point of feeling like death if you don't have it simply doesn't happen. One of the alkaloids in Krat makes it so there's a plateau of "highness" you can achieve. Since it behaves that way, it doesn't give people an incentive to really abuse it because all that will happen is you'll get dizzy, sweaty, and throw up.
Anyways, the itching is very common among anything in the world that binds to your mu-opioid receptors. Not because it's "poison" in any way lol. And you're on the right track, kind of. Your body releases histamines when your mu-opioid receptors start working overtime. Anti-histamines are actually drugs like Benadryl which is why I take a very small dose of Benadryl with krat to not only potentiate it, but also to take away the itch.

It sure does I'll usually take just one tablet of it, (25mg's) and it has a very noticeable effect. The few times I took the recommended dose for allergies (50mg's) it made me way too sleepy so I stay away from that much unless I'm taking the kratom an hour or 2 before bed.

Takes away the dizziness, and adds to sedatation
from January-march
I did that combo every night,
taking DPH a lot is bad af for your sleep schedule, and I think I remember hearing longterm dph use leads to higher rates of dementia
DPH is nice everynow and then, for emergency sleep aid use though

I've never got any dizziness from kratom, even in high doses. I just have a natural high tolerance to all opiate and opiate like drugs.

I don't take kratom for the sedating effects either, in fact I don't really like the red veins. Green is my go to. I take it for pain relief, anxiety and mood boost. I like to take it and go hiking a lot.

Exactly. For me and the GF it's been such an amazing drug since we both have horrible cases of anxiety.
She only took it for the first time last week and it helped her out so much for anxiety at work, and just mood in general.
As for pain, I honestly feel that kratom just numbs my mind enough not to care about the pain (like a traditional opiate). It doesn't actually treat it and Aleve works a lot better for myself.
Edit: I remember the first time you ordered some kratom I think. We might have talked through text of FB...either way, I remember you telling me that you were amazed at how it helped your anxiety for a job interview. It's awesome that you stay active on it with hikes. I just do my usual skimboarding or surfing thang while on it and it makes it a lot more enjoyable than it already is.

Yes! It has worked wonders for stress induced situations like interviews, driving, large crowds. All things that have put me into a panic attack before. Now I just feel completely at ease. I just landed a job working at a veterinary hospital where they drilled me for 45 minutes of stupid ass questions that are worded to make you confused. I breezed through them all. In the past interviews I sometimes clam up even though I knew what to say. Twice during my last interview the hiring manager stated that I did very well on my answers. So happy

That's awesome! I'm so happy for you. I know you've gone through some tough situations in the past year and it just puts a smile on my face that at least the working issue has been resolved.
You've always been an awesome person towards me, we've had some great talks, and I can't wait to meet you in a few months. If you're still up for it of course as my gf will be tagging along.
This song came to mind when I was typing this post
If you can't see it on your phone, it's Andrew Gold - Thanks For Being A Friend. (theme song from the Golden Girls)

Hahah aww thanks man. I have been through a hell of a lot, life has changed drastically but for the better. Aside from the huge medical bill they keep fucking up with (I have mailed documents for financial assistance several times but they keep saying they never got anything...) I think my life is on a better track. Just got that job, waiting on the background check to clear (I'm a little nervous...), going back to school in a few weeks to become a veterinary tech. Been breaking out of my shell and meeting people and going out places. It's been a really great summer. I would love to chill with you soon, you and your girlfriend! You still hafta make up the time you were going to visit me at the beginning of the year

Right on! It's amazing how much life can change for the better so quickly. I feel as if when one important thing goes right, all the other things you're trying to achieve start falling into place because of your positive mindset. Again, just really happy that you're doing so well.
And yes, I owe you a night out to a stand up comedy show. Consider it done! Did you end up going to the one that you bought us tickets for?
Oh, and just a reminder since it's been a little while since we talked. I'll be flying out to Vegas on November 3rd, and should be close to where you are by the 8th. I'll just give you a call either tonight or tomorrow so I can talk to you further without derailing this thread. &
