Is it ok to use a heater?

I was wondering if it is ok to use a heater under the terrarium? Im growing a Brazilian Cubensis B+ strain, and Ive read in other threads that heat kills the psychoactive compounds in the fruit bodies? The heater makes it very humid in the chamber, and it does get fairly warm in there but online where I got the spores from it says "environment: sub tropical". So wouldnt they be enduring pretty warm climates in Brazil anyway? Sorry for the noob questions btw.

Just keep it at room temp.

If you are comfortable your cube myc is comfortable (temperature wise) if you are not comfortable then get comfy for you and your myc's sake

Ok, that still doesnt answer my question. Will there be a difference? In nature they would experience a temperature differentiation through out the day. Wouldnt it be best to mimic these factors as best as possible?

Shouldnt I shoot for replicating the environment they would grow in outdoors? Theyre a Brazilian strain and on the website I bought them from, it says they grow in a subtropical environment. So I figured I should be replicating that environment as best as I can.

In winter I use a radiator type heater. Its just too cold in the rooms I use... That way the heat doesnt involve the blowing of dry air.
Works good. Stays warm, and I can still keep humidity up

Jars/bags/tubs/trays should colonize @ room temperature getting ambient/indirect light.
Main pinning triggers are full colonization, FAE and Evaporation off of the substrate.
Light is a secondary pinning trigger. For tropical species temperature is not a pinning factor.
P. Cubensis are a tropical species. You could colonize at 70F and fruit at 80F with great results.
Light has been proven beneficial during all stages of mycellium growth. Mushrooms like mammals have a circadian rhythm.
You want ambient/indirect light(on a 12/12 schedule preferably) for colonization and consolidation.
You want direct/intense 6500K light on a 12/12 schedule for fruiting.
Optimal temps are mid 70s throughout the whole grow, but anywhere from 65F-80F is acceptable.
Incubation is outdated/uneeded unless temps in the range stated above cannot be kept.
The inside of the jar is always a few degrees warmer than the outside because the mycellium produces heat..mycellium tends to stall at temps above 83F , and contams thrive.
Fruiting at cooler temps tends to produce denser, meatier fruits, while fruiting at higher temps will often produce hollow, less dense stems.
Mycelium should be exposed to ambient room light from day of inoculation as has been known for many years. Light is not a pinning trigger until after full colonization and an increase in air is given, and even then it's a secondary pinning trigger. RR
Furthermore, the name some vendor put on a certain group of spores means little.

all cubes grow in tropical regions and by growing them indoors at room temp you are already creating/replicating this. and your room temps will drop at night to mimic nature if thats ur worry but its not strictly needed.
