Hi all, first post!
This was a bit of an impromptu hunt.... I was actually searching the area for ice cream but the first search result that came up told me i was near the best spot for magic mushrooms!
Anyway, I looked at a few pics, kept an eye out and found a few different types of mushrooms. The ones below seemed to be the most promising. Please note, the photos here were taken a day after picking(except the picture of them in the bag below)
Habitat: Bush - Found near creek in dark area, growing in rotting leaves.
Gills: Brownish/grey. Some of them had a very faint tinge of violet. See bag picture for good examples.
Stem: Mostly light yellow/white with some a darker brown. Most of the ones I found had white speckles on it(see bag picture)
Cap: Yellow/orange in the centre which gets lighter yellow around the edges.
Spore print color: TBC (I hope) The first I tried yeilded no results. I think it may not have been mature enough. I have 2 sitting under a glass right now.
Bruising: Seems to just darken. Not seeing too much purple or blue in it.
Location: Between Bridgetown/Balingup in Western Australia

Hopefully my attempts at photos are ok. I do have more examples I can take or post.
This shot of them in the bag show the gill colors when they were fresh quite well. This was taken directly after picking.

Any advice or any more info I need? Can get more photos as needed of more samples.
Also, since it is very hard to get spores and mushrooms in Asutralkia(at least for me), im wondering if its too late to try to get spores out of these for growing?

They appear to be a Hypholoma sp.
Perhaps take a spore print to check.
Welcome to the Shroomery!

Don't take my word for it but I'm pretty sure the ones with white fuzzy shit on the stem are not what you're looking for.

Shaman australis is pretty strict about entry (but absolutely worth it)
the registration is completed manually by the site owner before your allowed access.
re the ID, yes my thought are Hypholoma sp.

Reposting these photos won't change what they are. They are Mycena.
