Lack of fertiliser or you're flushing them with too much water, leaching fertiliser, would be my guess.

What's the temperature inside that tub too?

I do keep a lot of water in their soil. I fertilize 2 times a month with a High Nitro fert at like 29. Please let me know what to do.

Also do you have a link or something to how to ween them to my natural weather without them loosing all their leaves in 2 day

it happens to me too. I am currently doing a personal study on how to make them grow at optimum conditions. I am multiplying the little stock I have left first, then I will be trying different methods to keep them alive.

Usually by the time the grafts ate big enough I end up plucking all the leaves off and on coming offsets.

I don't have a link but if they're doing this then they're being shocked. You need to acclimatise them slowly, over more than a week, to lessen the transition. Don't give them full sun for starters. I never keep my pereskiopsis in full sun, they grow all thick, spiny and not supple. They also lose leaves in full sun. I live in Australia and it gets hot as Hades down here as well. I keep my pereskiopsis in the shade always when growing outdoors.

As for why your peres leaves are yellowing I can't be sure. I think it's either a soil problem, which needs to be measured to find out what's wrong, or an excess heat and light issue. Although I'm not sure.

The old leaves on those peres seem to be dropping while the new growth looks to be doing fine, and also seems to exhibit signs that they're being grown in a shady spot. Are they retaining the new leaves or are they yellowing as well?

Well the cuttings I've taken are all looking great and the offshoots growing from some of the stocks look very healthy and the leaves a nice and never yellow until I graft something to it and it grows for a month or 2 and reaches a certain size "it seems" I can try to snap you a pic of the whole chamber if you want.

They're in a Rubbermaid container under 2 2ft 6500K lights and around 100F for about 16 hours a day. The soil stays mostly wet but it does dry out for a short amount of time "mostly".

I've used some High nitrogen fertilizers on them about 2 times so far this year and in the beginning I used a 10-10-10 NPK fert. I'm going to get me a lower nitrogen and higher phosphorous fert like ferrel suggested awhile back but I just haven't gotten to it yet being a bit low on cash.

I keep telling people this but nobody will listen to me. When leaves yellow and fall off it's a sure sign that you are watering too much. All plants do this as a response to their roots not getting enough oxygen due to too much water. The next step after that is potential root rot. These plants are so resilient that they can even get root rot then fall over and reroot themselves, just like other cactus. It's a sign of their will to survive. However, these plants are not aquatic. They may come from a region that is slightly tropical, but that does not mean they want their roots to be soaked all of the time. I only water my peres when their leaves begin to go soft as opposed to plump and firm. This is a sign that the plant is thirsty. I'll take get a photo of one of my cuttings that is only a year old and only get's watered once every three weeks, sometimes longer. I don't fertilize either. I use mix good soil with extra perlite and lava sand. If I lose ANY lower leaves, I withhold water immediately and do not water until the problem resolves. These plants can handle droughts, but for some reason people seem to think that they need to stay wet all the time. It boggles my mind.

Notice that no leaves have yellowed or fallen off. If you take any advice from my post, only water after the soil has dried out completely. Stick your finger in there, look at the bottom holes. Just give it a try. You might be surprised.

Good info, prismism. I luckily haven't had any problems with any of mine, but I do about what you do - rarely water em. I haven't had mine for too long, but they are doing good are just full of leaves and practically zero spines.  Mine are also outside in the sunshine

'I don't know', Alice answered.
'Then', said the cat, 'it doesn't matter.'

Im building my stock of pereskiopsis at the moment, but when I have enough, I am going to attempt hydroponic growth. I have this great little ice tray with small deep tubes. Going to set that into a tray with a few air stones, and see how good I can grow them.

I say go for it. They will grow fine so long as the water is kept oxygenated and replaced often. It's the same concept as growing cannabis. There are multiple different ways of achieving the same results. Plants can only handle so much nutrient uptake. After that you begin to do more harm than good. As with cannabis, you can grow with soil, hydroponically, or aeroponically. As long as you're giving the plant optimal nutrition and conditions, you can max out the plant's biological efficiency. I prefer soil mostly because I can use more organic methods to achieve the results I want.
