hey matt.
although youre doing things, youre not doing anything that will fatigue the body or mind.
I too suffer from insomnia like a bitch. getting drunk will actually make your insomnia worse in the long run, so I would be careful going down that route.
I would throw on some headphones, and run. run until you can run no more. until you feel like youre going to pass out. fatigue your body to the point of no return. make sure its early'ish in the day, so the adrenaline wears off by nighttime. at night, throw a set of stereo headphones on, and listen to this:
its isochronic tones, which help to promote different brain waves patterns to induce sleep. mix this with some Seroquel and benzos as you have done in the past, and id be shocked to hear that u didn't sleep the night.
give it a shot. at this point, it cant hurt right?
GOOD LUCK BROTHER

Yeah, u should definitely go to an Urgent Care immediaately.
Staying up that long can damage the brain.
I find the come down of alcohol helps me sleep, but not sure if drinking alcohol with all your pills u take is a good idea

Today I finally decided to try and drug myself to sleep with 5mg of klonopin and 200mg of quetiapine, and it didn't even do shit to me. How do I sleep
How are you even coherent enough to type this? Have you seen the shadow people yet? Go to an urgent care immediately man. You'll thank yourself later

I've had one manic episode like this, it was the most terrible thing of my life - if there is a hell, that's mine.
I did not go to the emergency room when I had my episode, while the worst of it went away after two weeks(I honestly don't think I slept more than a few hours through those two weeks, I was so scared and so tired but it was impossible to sleep), it took a full month for me to be able to go to bed without having a panic attack, and a month of really intensive therapy to get me back on track. I was fully lucid and aware I was manic, so I was fighting it every step of the way, but mania does not just go away and even if you're extremely self aware and have a lot of insight as to what's happening to your brain - it is a really traumatic experience, and I you're not alone. I have PTSD so I was having terrible flashbacks and hearing voices outside my windows discussing breaking in, raping, and killing me. That's extremely hard to ignore even when you know it's not real. I woke my roommate up every night and made her sleep on the couch while I sat in on the other one with the phone in my hand, staying up all night.
Don't wait for a therapist. I highly suggest you call hospital psychiatric departments and see if they're willing to see new patients. Also ask about alternative partial hospitalization, it's usually about two weeks or a little less, and you go to group therapy for like 5 hours a day at the hospital and see a psychiatrist or psychiatric nurse who will work immediately to stabilize you you and set you up with outpatient care after the program is over.
Most people are referred by doctors, or are transitioning from in-patient, but I actually called the hospital on my own and they took me in the next day and I was able to work part time. Aside from that I never have had to be hospitalized or even close for bipolar, and it really changed my view on things and it helped me FAST. The people who are there are very normal and everyone is very nice and accepting, some of them are just coming out of inpatient treatment, and they were all very adamant that it saved their life.
You could also check out this site and see if there's any resources that would be useful to you. https://www.nami.org/
Good luck, dude. Remember everything is temporary, and this will all pass.

Yeah kind of hard to give advice if we don't really know why you have these symptoms. It is most likely from your medication. Which we really don't know what your on. Guessing K-pins, lithium, and seroquel.
- I'm sure all those will give you insomnia if you stop or try not to take them. Combining that with a frantic weekend of partying your bound to be in the red zone.
You mention you just started seroquel which 1-10% of the population experience insomnia from it. You could also be having withdrawal from risperidone. Something to mention to your doc is that you haven't slept in days.

The same thing happened to my friend Tyler. He was able to find a solution, but sadly, the 1st rule is he's not supposed to talk about it... And the 2nd rule is, he's not supposed to talk about it.

yeah when i came off seroquel i couldn't sleep for a few days, which was troubling given that my symptoms are all a result of sleep deprivation and the seroquel would mellow me out and prevent any issues.
but i gritted through it and was alright after that.
fucked myself up with meth a few years later and am getting worse now though fml
also to knyggaplease, seroquel isnt a stimulant at all its a heavy downer that makes you dopey for a few hours even when you wake up. asif it had a stimulant effect on yourself??

I know exactly what it is lol, it's a D2 and 5HT2 antagonist so naturally it should have a heavy downer effect especially because dopamine is converted to noradrenaline...
Shit just stimulates me

amitriptyline is the worst drug to ever pass into the market. I honestly can't even see how it could be remotely beneficial to anyone. I've never heard of positive experience from it. Never. lol

But afterwards when trying to rest it was nearly impossible because I was already having waking nightmares before I could even rest a bit...
Shit feels like its straight from hell
