Show me some ancient knowledge 1

I'm looking for some good ancient scriptures and tomes and whatnot concerning ancient knowledge... I need to read the vereudic texts and whatnot...... What I've experienced is displacement of internal contradictions into the universe.
Shrooms trigger this mindstate. But I go into it naturally also. It's like the contradictions are... holes... like zero... in a framework... or frame of reference, and if I push them outside of myself, I can learn more about the cause and solution (through experience)... or I can absorb these... contradictions... this state of mind is strange, every time I do this (displace the contradictions) my brain... grows? Rewires? Syncs? and my muscles gain in density and I become more symmetrical.... If I'm around somebody and talk to them, I can take them a long for the ride too... everybody get's high as fuck like manic... it gives new meaning to "working things out".
??? any answers??? I eat knowledge for breakfast, so feel free to point me around.

So what are you saying OP ? You have a brain tumor, you workout to make your muscles more dense, and you plan on kidnapping someone? As a side note you need a balanced breakfast, knowlege alone isn't enough you need your full days supply of viamins and minerals too.

If the ancient knowledge was any good then it's just called knowledge. Most ancient knowledge is actually ignorance.

ancient knowledge? lets see.
one is less than two

Ayurveda has some pretty legit ancient knowledge
And most forms of Yoga as well... and in counter to Koods, since most white people are still ignorant of it despite increasing acceptance... its still ancient knowledge

A lot of the scriptures are obfuscated in such a way as to set you up to experience what the scripture is demonstrating inderectly. Without faith, you'll never experiment with it and it will appear as ignorant as you are . Your not going to write something on a tablet that is gonna make you look like a dumbass for 30000 years, unless your hiding something that needs to be away from left hands.
Some of those are to kill you and then bring you back; else you just wouldn't have a common frame of reference to understand people like shamans and the words that come from their heart.
If i'm demonstrating a pattern of thought to somebody and then they go off and demonstrate it to a hundred people, how does this make me crazy? Just because we operate on the same basis of operation, share a common frame of reference that is self expansive, doesn't make us crazy; just as most shamans you'd call nuts, in the end , they are/know what they are doing.
The more I develope any particular part of my body (mentally) the more physically developed it gets. Its really obvious.

in 200 BC eratosthenes got pretty close to measuring the circumference of the earth by measuring shadows on specific days in two specific spots.
Quote:
he measured the Sun's angle of elevation at noon on the solstice in Alexandria, and found it to be 1/50th of a circle (7°12') south of the zenith. He may have used a compass to measure the angle of the shadow cast by the Sun.[16] Assuming that the Earth was spherical (360°), and that Alexandria was due north of Syene, he concluded that the meridian arc distance from Alexandria to Syene must therefore be 1/50th of a circle's circumference, or 7°12'/360

All knowledge comes from a single point. Therefore I know nothing.
The reason for creating this thread was not my inability to do a google search or go through the giant archives of glutenberg, but for those who have come across knowledge worth keeping to guide me through the bullshit and leave me in a place I can learn for my own.

" Human reason, in one sphere of its cognition, is called upon to consider questions, which it cannot decline, as they are presented by its own nature, but which it cannot answer, as they transcend every faculty of the mind.
It falls into this difficulty without any fault of its own. It begins with principles, which cannot be dispensed with in the field of experience, and the truth and sufficiency of which are, at the same time, insured by experience. With these principles it rises, in obedience to the laws of its own nature, to ever higher and more remote conditions. But it quickly discovers that, in this way, its labours must remain ever incomplete, because new questions never cease to present themselves; and thus it finds itself compelled to have recourse to principles which transcend the region of experience, while they are regarded by common sense without distrust. It thus falls into confusion and contradictions, from which it conjectures the presence of latent errors, which, however, it is unable to discover, because the principles it employs, transcending the limits of experience, cannot be tested by that criterion. The arena of these endless contests is called Metaphysic. " - THE CRITIQUE OF PURE REASON By Immanuel Kant Translated by J. M. D. Meiklejohn
Theurgy, denned a little more carefully, means "The Science or Art of Divine Works," and it is the same as the Telestic or Perfecting Work. In Alchemy it is called the "Great Work," which is the purification and exaltation of the lower nature by the proper application of scientific principles, so that it may become united with its higher counterparts, whereby the individual may attain to Spiritual, and ultimately Divine, Consciousness.
""The Principles of Truth are Seven; he who knows these, understandingly, possesses the Magic Key before whose touch all the Doors of the Temple fly open".--THE KYBALION"
The Seven Hermetic Principles, upon which the entire Hermetic Philosophy is based, are as follows:
I THE PRINCIPLE OF MENTALISM.
II THE PRINCIPLE OF CORRESPONDENCE
III THE PRINCIPLE OF VIBRATION.
IV THE PRINCIPLE OF POLARITY.
V THE PRINCIPLE OF RHYTHM.
VI THE PRINCIPLE OF CAUSE AND EFFECT.
VII THE PRINCIPLE OF GENDER.
These Seven Principles will be discussed and explained as we proceed with these lessons. A short explanation of each, however, may as well be given at this point"

It's badass and genius, but calling finely ground up silver/gold mixed into glass nano-technology is a bit of a stretch All sorts of materials have been mixed with glass throughout the ages for various effects.

Yeah that crystal things are very strange. Really made me a believer. What with the hole in the clouds that followed me around and all... the metal sealed canister became magnetic that I used to carry the crystal in... other interesting things...
Interesting how faith can have such an affect, Where does the faith end and the truth begin?

some people subscribe to Quantum Mechanics some people subscribe to evolution some people subscribe to experience some people subscribe to the bible , .. quoran (or how to spell it) some people subscribe to psychology and randomness
which is right? does that make the others wrong?
know nothing, be ready for surprises
in most cases knowledge will find the person who is ready to absorb that knowledge so a thread about it probably won't work, but who knows it's not like we can ask for knowledge, it finds us when we are ready, we simply cannot stop researching it then
you can read all the books in the world without getting wiser, because not much can be known for sure about this world all theories are frameworks applied to our local environment
here's some modern knowledge for you: we know 4.6% of the "known" universe - nasa stats , 2014 or so
so knowledge is a weird word :-)

Yeah... Knowledge is something I would call "strange"... that kinda made me lawl.... I think I will make a few seperate threads... My original vision of this thread was to basically list translated manuscripts and whatnot in a coherent fashion;
Answering a person seeking knowledge must be a lost art

Knowing nothing is called nihilism I think
Many things make people nihilists
But it can be dangerous, nihilism destroys rationalism Apparently it is superior, or is it ?;-)
(a little philosophy)
edit: so now you can read up on nihilism, and I like shamanism too - fits my experience well, so you can call that "knowledge" perhaps, or experience. Knowledge is experience to a buddhist usually it seems.

Where does the faith end, And the knowledge become?
I feel that nihilism just gives one a new start; being like that forever I feel would defeat any positive benifets.
Why can nihilism and rationalism not... coincide?
"you can read all the books in the world without getting wiser, because not much can be known for sure about this world all theories are frameworks applied to our local environment" I don't like calling them theories, a "construct" works. They are so much more than explanations, or models, but are also... like a stimulus response designed to entegrate and grow... to sense, and to reason. And they are part of the local environment. Also you are part of it. It is part of you.
knowing for sure isn't even necessary; Having faith in it is more important, since direct observation always fucks it up, and if you are seeking the truth faith is your best friend when it comes to reading. It's not what you read but how you apply it, that is where the wisdom comes from. Who said magical thinking doesn't work
Any wavefunction can be expressed in a circle with straight lines. Hmmm....

Feels great.
What about expansion/extrapolation of that "nothing" to "everything"... Yeah it feel good brah, like the best sex while on cocaine with no comedown and no need to sleep for about a month.
Cause I'm creating the solution to every problem when I go into a "nihilst mind state". Then I'm like "That's impossible but I'm still going to do it" like telekinesis, and then my mind grows attempting to overcome a challenge. And as soon as I accept that I know nothing, I know everything that I should. Wonderfully confusing paradoxical processes that work like clockwork and are wonderfully robust and tuned for this universe.
A lot of these are ethereal drugs... thought experiments... Give you a kick in the ass to get past to the future.

You can't say something about nothing, because as soon as you do the equal and opposite is also true... That's the neutral point of the universe.

,—“All” is of “One” or “One” is “All.” So closely bound is each to other, that neither can be parted from its mate.
It says "its mate" does this imply that they are inversions of eachother? (thinking principle of gender)

ok ok fine I'll look at it despite it's epic Rediculousity. (Get rid'ya-killus)
Asante, that is truly enlightening. Just to quote wikipedia on this
Quote:
The word Abracadabra may derive from an Aramaic phrase meaning "I create as I speak."[1] This etymology is dubious, however, as אברא כדברא in Aramaic is more reasonably translated "I create like the word." In the Hebrew language, the phrase translates more accurately as "it came to pass as it was spoken."[2] The second lexeme in this supposedly Aramaic phrase might be a noun given the presence of the definite article[citation needed] on the end of the word (it cannot be an infinitive construct, as the infinitive cannot take the definite article). Regardless, this phrase would actually be pronounced ebra kidbara, which is clearly different from abracadabra[citation needed].
That is indeed interesting translations, I will play with the concept until the actuall meaning comes to me, I likely have at least a partial frame of reference to draw from; I have experienced this phenomenon way to many times to feel sane... dude hebrew isn't that hard to decode , I met a guy who even taught himself the pronounciation of the words of ancient hebrew, there's a lot of information locked up in that language that is inseperable from the culture. Layers of meanings... like a mirror of reality...

Thats the one yes. You are supposed to hang it around your neck as an amulat and it will cure illness.
Thats at least what the legend says. No one does it anymore so I guess it wasnt much more effective than placebo.
Placebo is a superdrug though compared with pessimism.

Maybe the healing powers of the amulet are less a result of some magical placebo and rather a spell that demonstrates certain techniques capable of causing regeneration or whatnot.

Some philosophy:
what if all is a wave, all is frequency, words have a frequency, stones have a frequency
frequency + time is information then
then you may be able to put information into words and receive information from words or into stones and receive information from stones
those are called numerology and crystal healing
numerology claims that your name is not random, but a result of your parents/your own frequency when you were born
parents who hate themselves may use an ugly name parents who love themselves may use a beautiful name , or such ;-)
what we chose apparently rarely is random , that's also the "law of attraction" - everyone you know, everything you do, everything you own / chose to buy is decided by your mental state
and your mental state is apparently decided by your soul some say
so soul changes all things around us, name, possessions, friends, knowledge, beliefs, what we do, what we say, what we think, who we love / hate (thereby our friends)
all a reflection of our inner
some people are optimists from they are born, some are pessimists when they are born
some are inbetween, and it usually lasts the persons whole life
how do you explain it? - the soul could be one explanation , or just really great parents and luck
but lucky doesn't explain that the same people are happy even when they lose their job, home, don't have food etc.
while others want to kill themselves when they lose their girlfriend (extreme pessimism)
something else seems to control our emotions, than just our environment
two siblings can be opposite personalities often their whole life

God, its a knowledge preceding humanity. God resides in the temporal lobes. Temporal lobe epilepsy brings out a prominence of religiosity.
Why would God have a place inj our brain?
Why would 9 out of 10 people worldwide experience a Higher Power?

He began his first series around 1788 and continued it sporadically from 1790 to 1795, with books on a similar theme continuing to appear in the first decades of the nineteenth century. More than forty years after his death, this collection of biographies (produced in collaboration with Henry Wilson (fl. 1820–30)) was republished in 1869. The edition's introduction explains that the renewed interest in these characters comes from the fact that 'we have nearly lost all, and are daily losing what little remains of, our individuality'. The vignettes, accompanied by engravings of each individual, describe a wide-ranging group – from the man who died aged 152 to a 'remarkable glutton' to a woman who lived on the smell of flowers – their only common factor being that they were in some way 'wonderful'.

Ok... Short post me tired... Mghhm.. A tribe would steal onothers tribes children. These children would develop a symbiotic relationship with a disease, say, staff, or eboli, idk rlly contagious stuff... And kill off the tribe threatening their blood. The children, being sperated from their father would trigger overdevelopement of self sufficiency, quicker developement, and likely similar effects intelligence wise, as well as physical giving advantage to slaves in certain conditions of being a sheep among wolves and also to increase survival rate of infection. Smaller thin and high muscle density.
What can happen will happen. Developement of mechanisms through natural selection. Triggers can be determined through enviroment change... Patterns over generations... Tribal living had a huge influence of societal human mechanisms.
After i thought about this yesterday morning i found a hazmat contagion sign cut from a disc of steal, seemingly with plasma cutters. with a string wound around it in the manner of a dream catcher.
Hey looks its walking meat we dont have to refridgerate! reason for edit: from a disc of steal

If you find yourself in a new area with unfammiliar plants and fungi, eat only a little bit of the specimen you want to test, and keep your stumach empty after for a few hours. If you feel fine, it's probably edible.

Either Amanita phalloides or Amanita ocreata, or maybe Amanita elliptosperma.
A bit of KOH on the pileus would sure help.

Not an ID request, rather a snarky comment on eating a small amount of an unknown mushroom in the wild; destroying angel fatal at 5 - 15mg - over 100 mg's in a mature specimen. Even a nibble can put you on a liver transplant list at best.

Imagine the day people figured out the link between sex and pregnancy. Now imagine the day people figured out that only vaginal intercourse causes pregnancies. That must have been quite the day!

Actually I wouldnt be surprised if all social animals know that vaginal intercourse leads to offspring, I think even animals can put that together if they see it happening all around them, and especially since its often seasonal like with herd animal.

Videos like those are like mainstream american culture of the 40s and 50s. That music, that happy serious narrator, the suits for no reason, innocent high school kids who look like grade school kids playing ball and asking for rides. So Americana. The people of that era grew up watching videos like these and being told to take them dead serious. Because they were shown to every school age kid in schools across America these videos were one of the few things that ALL Americans of that era were exposed to at the same age.
Just imagine, Europe was rebuilding, mourning, and still on rations. At the same time, American school kids were watching PSAs like these.
Also, I think there might be a cultural divide in America between kids who took these videos seriously and kids who didn't. In California at least, I know from my parents that PSA videos were widely laughed at. "Duck and cover? To protect you from a nuclear explosion? Come on." "Marijuana? I tried that last thursday, and it was fine." Even LSD in the 60s in California was treated about the same as marijuana.
I can only assume that in some other states these PSA videos must have been taken seriously.

Any ideas on how that could actually be applied as a umm... Spell? Or whatever you could call it (does anybody evrn know what its called?)
i... Didnt mean to double post. Srry.
Things have been happening a second time... Like dejavu but not... The wierdest being a guy at safeway about a year ago i went down and asked him fot a smoke he gave me two smokes and a marylin monroe lighter. At the time i remember thinkong it to be dejavu. Now i came back to the same store two days ago and asked the same person same spot, same lighter and two cigs. Maybe the dejavu manifested itself or something... But yeah, same spot same person same reaction... But not dejavu. So wtf, i might start a whole thread about these mystery dejavu but not moments, and maybe there is a relation between the dejavu and the not dejavu.
