FC temp necessary for pinning (MONO)

Hey guys, I've initiated FC for a monotub that I've colonized and cased (sub-hpoo/verm/gypsum. case-verm/coco coir). Coincidentally, my room is perfect for colonizing conditions, it maintains a temp of 77-80F. But alot of the time it stays at 80. Now that I've initiated FC I'm wondering if 80F would still be ideal or OK to initiate pinning. All responses are appreciated, thanks.

Typically you want a slight drop in temp to help initiate pinning, but I've fruited just fine at 80 (it's where I'm at now lol). Should be ok

it would be better if you could get down to 72-75, but they will fruit at 80. they will grow fast and might be hollow at higher temps.

Cubes are hollow
Cooler temps provide more dense, slower growing fruits.

65-100f initiates pinning in cubes. 68-75is great

You've got me there. Never grown or eaten them, so I didn't know. They're not hollow?

Temperature doesn't really dictate if they're going to be hollow.. it seems more genetic imo. I got tubs filled with trays and some come out hollow and some come with a pure white membrane down the middle, in the same tub with the same conditions.
Increasing or decreasing temperature won't do anything to a tropical species like cubensis. Fae will.

Cubes are tropical no need for any drop in temps at all and will even tolerate a slight raise in temps lol otherwise in the wild they would have no hope!! think where they grow.. the temps go up and up as the year progresses and they fruit fine. they dont wait for winter to tell them its right.
no cold shocking needed in any case or even a drop in temps imo

Jars/bags/tubs/trays should colonize @ room temperature getting ambient/indirect light.
Main pinning triggers are full colonization, FAE and Evaporation off of the substrate.
Light is a secondary pinning trigger. For tropical species temperature is not a pinning factor.
P. Cubensis are a tropical species. You could colonize at 70F and fruit at 80F with great results.
Light has been proven beneficial during all stages of mycellium growth. Mushrooms like mammals have a circadian rhythm.
You want ambient/indirect light(on a 12/12 schedule preferably) for colonization and consolidation.
You want direct/intense 6500K light on a 12/12 schedule for fruiting.
Optimal temps are mid 70s throughout the whole grow, but anywhere from 65F-80F is acceptable.
Incubation is outdated/uneeded unless temps in the range stated above cannot be kept.
The inside of the jar is always a few degrees warmer than the outside because the mycellium produces heat..mycellium tends to stall at temps above 83F , and contams thrive.
Fruiting at cooler temps tends to produce denser, meatier fruits, while fruiting at higher temps will often produce hollow, less dense stems.
Mycelium should be exposed to ambient room light from day of inoculation as has been known for many years. Light is not a pinning trigger until after full colonization and an increase in air is given, and even then it's a secondary pinning trigger. RR
